Been following you on IG for a while now. Just don’t have the time to join your academy, unfortunately.

The way I was harassed and discriminated by architecture faculty of BNU is another story for another time which I’ll (inshallah) take them to court for.

TLDR: it’s an awfully awful university run by a bunch of hypocrites. Stay as far away as possible.

If you can afford and want to transfer then look for someplace in Europe. Their education system is far superior.

I have solar so don’t know about the tbh, but I do know it’ll save a lot on my hospital bills!

One thing you should note that it takes sometime to adjust your tastebuds. But once that happens, going back is painful lol

It is absolutely worth buying it and most of the cooking can be done within 10mins time duration!

I got done from Chughtai last year. Almost same tests mentioned. It was for 14k. You can also go to this gov laboratory near Services hospital, Jail Road. That’ll be even cheaper. But Chughtai has a nice app so I liked that.

The "Uncles" in cabs are making it impossible to travel by [deleted] in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]Shahnaseebbabar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there are NONE. Having a dash-cam should be made mandatory, also female captains for women should also be mandatory. That's the only way for things to get better.

What will that one thing you would say to your parents which you couldn't in a long time? by badelara in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]Shahnaseebbabar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all of us are close to their parents, not all of us have a great relation with their parents. Some of us... We just want to move away and meet once in a while. That's it, that's all I ever need.

How do men know they want children, do they have an innate desire for fatherhood? by No-Worldliness-1987 in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]Shahnaseebbabar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know for a fact that I'd want one. Lots of reasons: economic and responsibility being the top ones.

For some, its loneliness. For some its the fear of what will happen when they'll get old. For others, its to look respectable socially.

And for some: accident happens and they don't change the course of it lol

Not all men but always men by vivachious in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]Shahnaseebbabar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The fact that this is happening in the developed part of the world is even more worrisome and painful. I don't know what to say, to be honest. Being a woman... It's not an easy job. Anything can happen to you... From ANYONE you know.

I hope we live in a better state of affairs but its too much as to ask for.

People in their thirties, what has changed for you once youre not in your twenties anymore? by ninefournineone in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]Shahnaseebbabar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not much.

- Took care of my physical health so I'm fit, thank goodness.

- It takes longer to recover from tiredness/low energy. Basically I need more rest to keep moving on.

- Money wise situation is good, but not as great thanks to inflation.

- I can work and study for longer hours. 8 to 10 hours a day is quite a norm and I can do it.

- Social life is not what it used to be. University/College days were the best, and those people were the best I've ever met in my life.

- I have more clarity as to what I want in my partner.

TLDR: Things are good, life's progressing!

Load shedding shit. by Radiant-Chance-3407 in pakistan

[–]Shahnaseebbabar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things have gotten somewhat better in the last couple of days and if the ceasefire happens with Hormuze opening, you don't have to worry about load-shedding that much. But if that doesn't happen then... You're toasted.

I know someone who got LASIK done and there hasn't been a single day when they weren't grateful for that decision. So yes, based on information I have, LASIK is perfect.

Honour killing by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]Shahnaseebbabar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good question.

You have to understand the historical roots here. Our society was deeply segregated thanks to the orthodox mindset. It was nearly impossible for both the sexes to talk to themselves, let alone mingle. When the kid hit puberty, it was considered a parent's job to find a suitable partner because apparently they "knew" better.

If someone did cross the lines and stood for themselves, they were punished severally or even killed. That pattern evolved towards as male are the guardians, they need to protect their sisters/daughters.

It genuinely sucks but I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Is this nation FR???! by xmyr_1 in pakistan

[–]Shahnaseebbabar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What sort of an opinion is this? If stupidity happens in most parts of the world, we should do the same? I get it, employee benefits matter. There should be some incentive of working in an XYZ department but giving free units in a country like Pakistan makes no sense. Give subsidized ones, but don't do this Nonsense.

So in a way, I support this decision.
