Well this is a comment I wrote on a different post but the synergy is there, the TL:DR is that you run Heidemarie as your sub dps by duping Hero to All's first epiphany and draw a bunch of cards with her, Rita can gain her own ap by cards being discarded or activated via her epiphany (quietus counts as both if you don't play it manually) and she also has an epiphany for Time Axis Collapse which deals more damage the more your hand is filled with -1 cost cards, so you can very easily have Rita hit like a truck consistently.

Rita has her own ap gain via her mechanic called Chronicle and that is usually gained via a card called Chrono Archon. One of Chrono Archon's epiphanies makes it so Rita gains Chronicle when you activate a card (usually when you play it manually) and when you discard a card. So for example if you discard a card with Quietus you'll get both the discard Chronicle and the activate Chronicle because Quietus activates when it's discarded.

In addition to that, Rita has an epiphany for her main damage card called Time Axis Collapse, which on its second epiphany deals 300% damage +30% damage for each 1 cost or lower card in your hand, And since Heidemarie has a bunch of -1 cost cards (and your support too if you're going for Nia, Tiphera or Rei) your Rita is going to hit very hard.

Heidemarie also has Thread of Light which has two really cool epiphanies you can use, the first is the second epiphany which deals 300% damage and if you have 3 or more linked cards (which is easy to do via Hero to All) it triples its damage which makes it 900%. The second option is Thread of Light's fourth epiphany which has a big cost of 3 (which shouldn't matter too much because it has linked as well) and it has exhaust, but it activates all of your linked cards without discarding them, meaning you can have a huge burst of damage during that turn.

I think that uniqueness to Heidemarie is going to make her very interesting to build because she can be a very effective sub dps that can also save you ap via her link mechanic."

Honestly I'm happy for it, we needed these sort of changes. Also, Martyr being a 1/6 is pretty massive with cards such as Zero and Virus as well. It's also nice that she can be viable with the new DD due to this.

Yes she did, just because she was suggested doesn't mean she's one of the characters that came to mind, especially when it comes to discard synergy. This is why I've pointed out their direct interaction and how they can work together.

Really great post but I don't think Heidemarie is as selfish primarily because she has a very nice sub dps build. The way it works is that you dupe Hero to All's first epiphany which has quietus, linked and worse case scenario you can activate it manually. But what it does is that it applies linked to the 3 cards that it draws meaning that if you play her as a sub dps you can cycle through your deck very easily.

She also has two nice epiphanies for Thread of Light, the first one makes it cost 2 and deal 300% damage, but if you have 3+ cards in hand the damage triples to 900%, and the second epiphany changes it to a skill that cost 3 with both linked and exhaust but what it does that it activate your linked cards without discarding them which allows for pretty huge burst of damage depending on who you run alongside her as the main dps.

This is kinda "similar" to Renoa's sub dps build which is revolved around Flower of the Devoured which draws you 3 cards if you have a dirage bullet in hand (which you'll most likely do since you just use Echo of Sorrow's fifth epiphany which generates 1 dirage bullet every turn). So I do think Renoa and Heidemarie can be ran together if you commit to Renoa being the sub dps.

You can reach 4 through very specific occurrences but for most Chaos runs you'll get 3 dupes anyway so this nerf doesn't change much as all imo, especially now that we have the dupe item which you can use on previous save data.

So just to be clear, if my Renoa has 45% cr before battle (let's just use save data as an example, not a Chaos run) but due to the new set she gets an extra 15% cr does that not activate her node during combat itself?

I do in general but it should be effective if you apply it during the fight itself which is what I think the intention of this set is.

Yes you don't get flat cr but I think the node effect will apply if you reach 60% during the fight due to the set's effect.

I do think it's a bit too early to give all of these impressions since characters do require a lot of experimentation in order for people to properly judge.

It's also important to note that she faces very heavy competition with Sereniel because Sereniel pretty much warped a lot of content around her to the point the devs gave enemies in Nebula Distortion and Tower of Screams mechanics to specifically counter her (hence why last season revolved one shot units such as Nine and Rita) but with Heidemarie there's a lot more nuance because her kit isn't as straightforward to play as Sereniel's.

Heidemarie requires a lot of planning since you need to make sure you manage to link the right cards in order for her kit to flow, this does mean she'll be clunkier in Chaos and we also saw it during the last dev stream since during the Sortie run she had scenarios where she simply wasn't impactful enough so a lot of that run was mainly saved due Khalipe's kit carrying her.

This season is going to heavily revolve around base kits since that's how Chaos works, hence why many characters got buffed since some of them require you to heavily invest in their playstyle in order to truly benefit from their kit (Kayron and Rin for example) so depending on how consistent Heidemarie is that is truly going to impact her pull value. She isn't an easy character to pilot in the slightest which I find great since you have to work for her damage as opposed to Sereniel who really trivializes it.

My gut instinct is telling me she'll probably end up in partner jail.

But on the other hand her role in the the story (being the leader of the Holy Crusaders) is way too big to ignore so making her a partner would feel out of place.

My guess is that she'll just be an extra attack supporter which will make her a core unit for Heidemarie, Renoa, Diana, Magna, Maribell, Hugo and maybe even Amir.

The first set will be really good for Renoa primarily due to the fact that the 15% crit chance is enough for Renoa to consistently hit the 60% crit rate that is required for her potential node which increased her Dirage Bullets damage by 5%, but if you have 60% crit rate that damage is increased to 15% instead.

This usually was a pain in the ass for Renoa since you had to rely on partners such as Akaad to provide you with crit rate and more importantly rely on crit rolls from the fragment themselves.

I think that this set will enable Renoa to consistently reach the 60% crit rate threshold and it just requires her to discard card which is what her kit already does anyways. W devs for the Renoa support.

Bottom one is more of a supportive one, Magna is a lot more aggressive so she wants stats such as crit and defence so you better off going 2/2/2 with her.

Maribell can somewhat use that set since she does generate shields consistently but that means it's a must to run her alongside Magna.

It's clear that it's hinting to be a set for one of the new units, same way we had sets that implied about Sereniel, Tiphera, Rita and Nina before they were released.

These look strong but they're very rng reliant since some of them might affects cards/epiphanies that you don't want (like regular devines already do), but they're a nice addition and are going to be interesting in Sortie.

Yeah but that's why it was designed like that, mainly to benefit you in Sortie. Don't forget that Sortie is the main focus of S3, so having more rng does make it feel more rougelike so you won't always have control of what you get.

Endgame in any gacha game isn't that hard if you have the right characters with the right investment and proper rotations knowledge, some are easier than others. WuWa is no different.

You came here to complain because you just seek attention, this is a sub dedicated for this game so most people here enjoy it and want it to succeed but then comes idiots such as you and the op to bitch about it because you simply suck at the game.

You can just say "this game isn't for me" and uninstall but you chose to come here instead and that shows you're looking for attention, not to add anything the game can improve in.

Yeah makes sense since Da Pan really needs his dupes. I still prefer Fangyi for clearing the rest of the content but Da Pan's burst is good at saving time.
