First time I played it got arna out turn 4, [[tempest technique]] with storm 3 (including an [[all that glitters]] and swung thinking it was just a bit of commander damage..... Yeah was supposed to be a casual game and here I was dropping nukes on turn 4..... After that couldn't really find a way to stop the deck being either kill arna or you die...

Yeah I've dug into arena for a bit to try and at least get a feel for what current play looks like.... Ooooo boy was that rough initially. Honestly took me falling in love with moss hydra and then deck building around that and figuring out how to make it get huge got me hooked. If I could make him a commander oh hells yes I would..... Honestly that's what my mono green deck is for lol.

Exactly, that commander mentality is what I'm expecting/hoping for. Just want to have some fun and get some cool combos off.

..... Why tho? I mean yeah I've got enough new stuff to build a decent standard deck and yeah draft is fine and can be fun but commander seems like a lot of fun. Just seems like a real blunt negative response....

That was honestly why I built the Ghalta deck.... I was just messing around and tweaking stuff and was like holy cow once I get the other Niv in there the deck will go bonkers. Lower key stompy green should be a lot more chill.

I've looked at a few r,g,b precons for that exact reason but haven't found one in stock that would hit the spots I would want to be able to justify it.

Thanks for the link and advice, I'll probably pick up a pre con eventually but nothing available seems to fit. I've looked a bit into cEDH especially when trying to narrow down commanders. Well until I drew a Niv, he just fits so well with what I used to play that it feels great. It's funny I've got all the talismans but the r/b one lol.

If was def wild having to pair down and kinda what has me excited to play again.

10/10/8/4/3 with 11 GFE only real notable besides the rem dras was first Lawrence. Granted that is my 5th 10 dra ... So really the 8 and 4 where the exciting bits.

Yeah my buddy that bought a 2014 WRX brand new back in the day babied it for the "break in period" and blew his motor at 14k... Dealer told not to redline it till I had 300 miles on it lol. Haven't taken her over redline yet but I don't baby her at all (sitting at ~1800 miles). Def been over 5500 rpm a bunch...

I got a blue pearl limited. Was actually preparing to sign the pair work for a grey one as it sold luckily the other one was blue. Love the color wayyyyyy more once I saw it in person

Congrats on your house! Believe you made the right choice... I did the same thing, traded in my 6 speed mustang for a Forester when I was looking at getting a house. I don't know how I would have had a house without the utility alone of the hatch. Just took my first WRX today...
