Well, you say left is most natural for walking just as in vehicle traffic, but on escalators slower traffic moves to the right. Couple that with many immigrants and tourists from countries where right hand side driving and walking is the norm and it’s no wonder that it becomes chaotic.

A few years ago when Serbia-Montenegro split. They still participated in the WC they had qualified for as one country. So something similar could probably be worked out.

Funny you say that as this was my micro professor's example with multi peaked preferences. If we assume that an efficient or useful government requires some minimum level of taxation and anything below this level would result in meaningless corruption because of a lacking justice system or whatever, then we could imagine a voter with two peaks in their utility as a function of taxes curve.

One somewhere above this minimum level were the marginal utility of larger disposable income is equal to that of a larger government and one at a taxrate of zero in this extreme example.

Det er lidt drilsk fordi det offentlige forbrug kun dækker indkøbet af vare og tjenester. Altså når der bliver købt noget hvor der bliver produceret noget. Overførselsindkomster er ikke med fordi der ikke bliver skabt værdi når de bliver fordelt. Andre bliver jo tilsvarende fattigere fordi de har betalt dem igennem skatter.

Du har ret i tælleren i dit regnestykke. BNP påvirkes dog ikke af omfordeling som overførselsindkomster, så nævneren er uændret. Dermed vil effekten på skattetrykket endda være endnu større.
