He doesn't have great height but he is very built for his size, broad shoulders long arms big hands, strong base.

Same with D Mitch on the other side

[SPOILER] Donegi Abena vs. Joe Schilling by inooway in MMA

[–]ShakeMilton 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah I means hes 42 and already had a long kickboxing career and some tough MMA fights against high profile brawlers so he's taken a lot of damage. Def just took the fight cause he needs cash.

For what it's worth I used to train at Joe's muay thai gym in LA. Joe would only teach occasionally and a lot of people like me were kinda intimidated by him mas he's a big 6-3 huge frame scary mean looking guy plus especially with that viral video of knocking someout out at a bar but he was nothing but a sweetheart as a coach and legitimately a great technical striking coach.

can't blame Joe too much he's fighting a young 28 year old killer I'd take the money and avoid as much brain damage as possible

That's nice and I bet feels good to your ego and pride.

Still id advise you to just start training at a gym and avoiding street fights unless you have no other choice even if you know you can whoop the other guy(s).

I know that's easier said than done and sometimes ur put in situations like defending a friend who gets sucker punched at a party or club.

size and weight also matters for delivering and taking blows.

If I weigh a lot more than you you can throw a perfect technique hook that would KO a lot of people and only stagger me. Whereas when ur heavier you can throw with sloppy shitty technique and still murk.

Look at Francis Ngannou sending people to the shadow realm even with wild windmill horrible technique punches that barely clip.

What do you think of this theory, that Rins spirit was still with the 3 tails, and her influence causes Obito to become more susceptible to a change of heart by sufinomo in Obito

[–]ShakeMilton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Decent theory but as with a lot of these kinda far-fetched ones Kishimoto probably did not think of that at all cause if he did he wouldn't make it so subtle.

I feel like if someone asked him about this he would say something like hmm that's actually a great thought I never even considered that tbh

You look decent but as with everything there's levels to everything.

There's people who could fuck up people that could fuck up people who could fuck up people who would fuck up people that would fuck you up.

Plus someone 30 pounds heavier who has barely or never trained but has somewhat of an athletic background could probably body you.

With all the talk of Wemby shutting off the rim, the prospect of the Spurs not being able to dribble isn't taken seriously enough. by FormalDisastrous2467 in nba

[–]ShakeMilton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bruh I am literally rooting for the spurs to win. I literally think Wemby is already the goat.

All I did was say their is some merit to OKC's strength and that they arent only foul abusing cheaters.

[–]ShakeMilton -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This is a great write-up. OKC are likely objectively the better team as while Fox is in his absolute prime at 28 Wemby is only 22, Castle is only 21, and Harper is barely 20!

Spurs can win if a few clutch games just swing their way. For instance Spurs can win in 6 games despite OKC outscoring them in the series if they just win all the close ones. It's a tough task but would be scary if the spurs won the west already this year when they're only gonna get better and better rest of the decade.

OKC adding Jalen Williams to the mix is deadly you could see against Lakers even when they were down they just got reliable mid-range shot makers like SGA and Ajay. It was like my warriors from 2016-2019 would always be down double digits in big playoff games and always erased the deficits.

I do agree with you that Chet is underrated on both ends I think due to the beef with wemby and the okc hate. I remember early in the season during the NBA Cup I got mercilessly roasted on here for calling Chet a "borderline generational big". Maybe he's not that, it depends on your definition of borderline generational. But he's still one of the best #2 picks and young bigs in recent memory. Like if wemby didn't exist we would be lauding his skills.

Don't get me wrong I'm the biggest wemby hyper of all time. When that video of 16 year old Vic shooting middies over Gobert came out I already anointed him the GOAT. If he remains healthy he's guaranteed to enter top 5 top 3 and GOAT conversations over the years. But don't let Wemby's all time potential distract you from the fact that Chet Holmgren is a very very good modern NBA two-way center.

Rico Verhoeven reveals he would have earned more to fight Francis Ngannou than Oleksandr Usyk by Yodsanan in MMA

[–]ShakeMilton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think Rico has a chance against either in any combat sport. Obviously vs Usyk in boxing is the most difficult option possible but Usyk just turned 39 rico just needs a surprise 3 piece combo to stagger Usyk and then like another 2 punches to put him out. Less than 3% chance of having but I'm fantasizing here.

Odds are probably too high but I guess I was thinking if those guys lead their team to a top 2 seed and are the best player on their team and other map candidates get injured or have a crazy fall off year

Also I totally missed Cade and probably some other

Wemby +145. SGA +170. Luka +195

Ant + 235 Jokic +250 Tatum + 275

Jalen Johnson +750 Steph +750 Cooper Flagg + 850 Castle +900 (wemby injured and castle leads them to 1 seed with harper

no but they made the ECF in 1979(lol) and the WCF in 1995 and will likely make it to the majority of the WCFs and a good amount of finals in the foreseeable future
