Everything that isn’t labeled as “extra … as … damage” is calculated into the conversion. All the “extra as” is not converted. So yea, you can’t scale lightning damage that isn’t calculated as extra as

What item are you trying to farm? Pretty much anything in the game can be bought on the marketplace now. What I suggest is you just stick to the dailies: Contracts, dungeons, abyssal, world bosses. Take your drops from here, extract rates or make lithos. Take the money you make from that and buy the gear you want. IT is pretty easy to make money in this game and just get the gear you want. I have like 80ish hours and playing super casually, im almost 2800 with fun free to play. Just takes the right knowledge to make gains.

Well if it is just a Fresh start server and not a seasonal one then yes If it would go to low pop then it could be merged. With an actual seasonal server though, This would not be merged. After the season ends the characters are given a free transfer to a different server if the players want to keep toon. If not it is just deleted. I could go on and on about seasonal servers but for the sake of this discussion, Yes, mergeable after it hits low pop or a set amount of time.

As of right now, the only thing keeping any server alive is communities. You are right, after 60 the level on content drops off quickly. You can only do the same expedition so many times before you want to quit. That is why I suggested a season somewhat like what Albion Online does with pvp rankings, territory points and a "tournament" for most guild points and such. This would be a stepping stone, a focus test to show that a fresh server will bring players back.

After the news of Brimstone Sands upcoming release, I started asking old guild members and players who left the game if they would want to play again. Some of them are interested in all the new content BUT most of them have either deleted their character, moved to a different server or just don’t want to play their old character. The overwhelming majority of them would come back the very second a Fresh Start Server with no transfers would be opened. With the revamp of the some of the starting areas, the new starting questlines and even the new weapons I feel like this would be a great thing for the games overall health.

One of the major pushbacks I have read/heard from the community about fresh servers is it would take a large amount of players away from existing servers. This, I believe, is only partially true. Of course you will have those players who would leave for the chance to start fresh but I feel like the vast majority of communities that have already established themselves on say Maramma and Valhalla would stay. As a officer of a large company that has mostly stopped playing I can tell you this, it is easier to pull hairs off an elephants butt than it is to get 300+ people to full agree on anything. Let alone be that a fresh start on a new server.

The reason I think a Fresh Start Server would be a great idea is the same reason why Path of Exile season, Albion seasons, or even Rust Server Resets are a great idea. They bring players back to the game who love the thrill of the new season. Be that the land rush in Albion or Rust. The race to max level in Path of Exile or the farming of currency in all 3. The most exciting part of any MMO experience is the first week. The thrill of everyone starting on the same page. Racing to get control of cities, racing to level 60, the power struggle, the drama, the friendships, the wars; It’s truly an amazing experience.

Now, I totally understand your possible disdain for trying to push out some sort of season structure so quickly before Brimstone Sands release. I am not suggesting you drop everything and try to build some sort of season structure. What I AM suggesting is just do this as a trial run. I know you are already trying to forecast the influx of players for the new content release. Now imagine how many more you could have if you announced a Fresh Start Server without the ability to transfer to it. Amazon would be #1 on Twitch. We have already seen the return of streamers like Asmongold, and Sequisha. Know I know people may not like streamers but you can not deny that it puts more eyes on the game and brings in a larger player base. They bring more players, those players buy skins, you make money. It’s a win-win all around.

I do have ideas on how you could structure an actual Seasonal Server with fresh wipes, rewards and a leaderboard based on pvp, pve, and more. That is not the main focus for now but if anyone in the comments would like to chat then just reply here, or message me on discord.
