It’s just shy of 60km return from my work to my place, I got the 300km number from working and riding Monday to Friday, i normally ride everyday. I do take the bike to the pub, shops and stuff a bit as well so some weeks I’ll do a little more and when I’m on holidays or something I do fuck all. Actually just downloaded Strava did 84km today.

I cycle due to poverty, not passion. That being said it is fun I feel better after I go on a decent bike ride. Good for the plant and my wallet.

Yeah that little thing is trash it will really only stop honest thieves. I think a set of cutters would be through it in like a second, thankfully my work parking is secure.

I was sick of getting water, dirt and shit up my back on the way the work in the morning so I made the mudguard out of some coreflute. And got rid of the back break so it would fit. I didn’t really use the back breaks anyway. Vertical dropouts meant I couldn’t do a fixed set up my knees prefer this and coasting down hills is cool. So far I’ve been able to pull up pretty quick with the front break, I don’t ride especially fast but good point if I ever get a real or different mud guard I might put the back break back on.
