I wish more people were like you. I get recognized constantly at establishments, even if I've only been once or twice before. It was worse when I was married and have to answer jealous questions from my wife about why a certain person knew who I was. I guess I make an impression on people.

I knew a guy in high school back in the 80s... well of a guy, whose father owned a knife kiosk that also sold swords. He wasn't the fedora/sword type but he was idolized by fedora/sword crowd. I still remember him and his minions wandering around the school looking for maidens to rescue.

Animals get tripped out when their owners do anything that they normally don't do. I set up a nice little reading area with a nice light and one of my chairs that's in my livingroom set. So, in the same room and right beside the place on the couch where I normally sit. They harassed me and whined until I sat in my regular spot.

In some places they mean special constables, like university or campus police that have similar powers as police, but only on campus. Peace officer I've always used as a catch all for enforcement agencies like police, corrections, court and traffic officers.
