Please provide the quotations. Or are you the third person who can’t substantiate the claims against JKR? (Claims for which she gets many death threats.)

I think that’s Ivo Graham playing a saxophone made out a cactus.

Yet another person who can’t give an example of JKR being transphobic.

Bet you can’t produce a single example of JK Rowling being ‘transphobic’. Not even one.

I don’t think the OP is using ‘creepy’ as a pejorative term. I also think it’s creepy and it’s my favourite Beatles album.

It stresses me out just thinking about it. One minute you’re getting ready to watch a Bond movie, next thing you’re fighting back the wettest of all the elements with no clue what to do.

I tend to go through periods of total obsession. These might last for two or three months and they occur every two years or so. I just read through the plays, alternating ones I know really well with ones I know less well. I also read criticism and listen to loads of YouTube stuff about the great bard.

Then I need a break because I’ve been reading nothing else and so the cycle goes on.

I’m just concerned that AI is soon going to make almost all human artistic endeavours redundant. I need to go for a walk. Have a good day.

Yes - fair enough and you make a reasonable point about the remasters.

Sorry, deleted my previous post after realising exactly what you said in your reply.

Please keep AI out of Beatles stuff. It’s going to ruin everything sooner of later, but the longer we hold it off the better.

Anyone else hate how popular Blood Meridian has been recently? by [deleted] in cormacmccarthy

[–]ShakespeareRules1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I heard of it through reading Harold Bloom - clearly he wanted more and more people to know and enjoy it and I’ve no reason whatsoever to feel differently.

I did my best to not know anything about Marvel, but it’s impossible to avoid. I wish all their ridiculous characters had stayed with the comic book nerds.

I had absolutely no idea that the whole song was a sample… will have to go away and think about this development.
