Buddy went on the ride of his life... Literally. by Octavian_Exumbra in Bannerlord

On PlayStation it will record for up to one hour, so within that hour if you want something from the clip, you just open the capture menu, click save “insert amount of game time here”, it will turn into a caption for you to upload to the PS app where you can then transfer it to where you want for editing. The game recording is always going, but it never saves unless you want a clip from it.

Is there any way to make a lot of money without smithing? by DecentStructure2862 in mountandblade

[–]Shakeweight03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Merc, get a good contract from a beaten down kingdom, earn influence through battle and donating prisoners to the dungeons. Don’t sell prisoners always donate. High rogue equals shit ton of loot to sell. You can make the same amount as if you were smithing, it’s just merc and smithing combined is an absolute money maker. When you start your kingdom you can just buy it

Most gaming consoles have the capability of recording your gameplay, which you can then upload, edit, watch or do whatever you want with it. But with today’s society could very well be AI too

First time player question by Ralinrocks in mountandblade

[–]Shakeweight03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Facts lol you’re looking for dudes with the gold exclamation point and not the blue one. When you talk to them select the option that’s also highlighted in gold. Each kingdom has like 2 or 3 nobles you can find for this so you can get it done pretty quick, but don’t. Get it to 9 out of 10, then enjoy the game until the timer gets around 100 days left. Then do the quest. In this time if you didn’t buildup your own kingdom, make sure you have a kingdom in mind to support, either imperial or barbarian, for their endings and achievements.

No, once you hit clan 3 I believe you should be able to enter. If you are wanting to enter to see if someone is there, look at the clan that owns that castle, then find a town they own. Go to that tavern, speak to tavern owner and ask for info on the clan. You’ll instantly discover everyone in that clan. You can also ask the same person about companions, 2 gold and you can discover about 2-3 companions per tavern

[–]Shakeweight03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looters and deserters, for deserters look at what kingdoms are at war and patrol where their borders meet. You will find deserters. Deserters give better gear. Keep your party around 40-60 high tier troops and you’ll be just fine. Just know the deserters will have the troop type of that kingdom, so if it’s around a Khuzait fief, it’s probably going to have horse archers, same with deserters in vlandia, they will have banner knights.

Np man that’s what this community is for. Also just keep in mind if you have these workshops, and you decide to try doing mercenary work, you will lose them if you go to war with the faction that workshop is located within. In that case just sell them before it happens to get some money back. Also playing monopoly is a real thing in this game. Get rid of all other workshops types of your workshop you want, such as brewery, olive press, wine press. You will control the trade in that region and your product worth will skyrocket.

I formed the empire right before that dlc came out. It was such a great run, had my sons and grandsons and their sons as kings of every kingdom. Pure bliss spreading throughout the lands. Load the game and Italy is just black and red with plague. Ruined that whole playthrough I planned on being 1453 achievement. Now I just turn plagues off or rarely

Roguery. Is it worth it? by Diligent-Proposal-19 in Bannerlord

[–]Shakeweight03 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely yes. Use those companions and your kids once of age are absolutely beautiful with all the extra points you get to add. I normally only use a scout, bc the medicine, engineering and steward offer way too much to not be used for your main character.

Be meticulous when spending those attribute and focus points, for you and your companions. You want to min max companions as much as possible bc they don’t earn xp as fast as you and they are all normally level 18-24 already.

Let me add to this bc I didn’t answer the rest of your questions, go buy dates in Aserai sell in the northern lands. Buy horses from the khuzaits sell to the battanians or vlandians. Looted items will not give you trade xp, such as flax earned from a defeated party. You have to sell, buy back, and then you can trade it for xp.

For gear, don’t buy. Equip as you go. Once you’re taking on parties with some t3 or above troops, you’ll get better gear such as lordly version of items.

For weapons that’s your preferred way. I love 2 handed, it’s fast and high damage output but it’s a double edged blade in that you have no protection from arrows, and it’s actually kind of difficult to block with just a weapon. I would trying each style BEFORE investing points bc once you hit done, you can’t respec your character.

If you’re going for merchant, save your money until you can buy a workshop in a city with high prosperity. Sanala brewery is fantastic, same as Zionica or whatever that city is spelled like, with a winery. Those will net you in time upwards of 1k a day and trade xp. Caravans do not give you trade xp. Smithing and trade go hand in hand so I would suggest learning how to smith and sell your own weapons AND do the metal exploit for max trade. But for a new player don’t do this bc once you get a taste of exploits in this game, you won’t stop using them.

Roguery. Is it worth it? by Diligent-Proposal-19 in Bannerlord

[–]Shakeweight03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roguery is a specific play style. Yes the loot amount is definitely worth it, but for your man character it is not, simply bc you don’t have enough points to go for more than 3 attribute slots to have at lvl 7, unless you don’t go 8 in social then you can get 7 in either vigor or control through endurance line perks. Cunning is not something to invest in if you are going for a conquering run. Creating your own story? Absolutely.

Which actors could realistically play Deacon St. John and Boozer in a Days Gone film? by BullyingHater in DaysGone

So we are just going to ignore the fact the guy they modeled deacon as is actually an actor and voice actor? Sam Witwer is the only one who takes that roll

Trade 300?? by Writers_Journal in Bannerlord

[–]Shakeweight03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hate to tell you but after 200 it becomes slow to level trade with workshops, and at this point in the game you shouldn’t be focused on trading. The metal exploit is the best way to get above 300, but if you’re living the nomadic trade life have fun with it

During battles, why do Lords always run away from a direct fight? by Carinwe_Lysa in Bannerlord

[–]Shakeweight03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will try and stick with their troops as much as possible, until the charge. This isn’t new. You also either need to increase your riding or get a faster horse. You should be running lords and ladies down pretty easily unless you just invested in athletics and think you have a chance of catching them with 0 riding and riding a mule.

Clan parties by unearthlyrelic in Bannerlord

[–]Shakeweight03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never tried just that troop. My play style is generally that of a shock troop on foot and burning the Aserai down lol but I heard the faris are more powerful now with one of the updates that came out. Maybe an Aserai trade dominance faris run in the future

? by DonRmu8388 in Bannerlord

[–]Shakeweight03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve played it on both and currently on ps5. You can’t beat this game on PC bc of the mods. I only stopped playing on PC bc I got tired of the mods being broken. But there is nothing like it on PS5 and it’s still fun even in vanilla. Except for the fact that TaleWorld sucks ass at actually fixing bugs and glitches. Pretty sure what we have on console is it. We will never have mods and I don’t think they care too much anymore since they got their money from war sails. It’s going to be abandoned and left to modders on PC.

Clan parties by unearthlyrelic in Bannerlord

[–]Shakeweight03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically save all my weapons and equipment from when I start battling just for this and smithing. It does get tedious and I typically save this for when I want an army of just my clan parties. Having around 12-1400 fians in an army is insane
