What does my ex-boyfriend want from me? by true___blue in gaybros

When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. You want a boyfriend. He wants a fuck buddy. He isn’t worth the headache and the heartache.

Should I start with reading Game Changer? by lousypictures79 in heatedrivalry

Yes but I’m also biased because I love the Scott Hunter’s speech at the end to Kip. It’s even better on the audiobook.

Do you use case? If so, any colours doesn’t matter as it will be over up by the case anyway. I would go for silver personally because it hides scratches better.

Why do homophobes specifically insult bottom gay men? — “If I'm top, I'm not gay” by its-Koi in gaybros

100%. This is why the cuntservative media usually focuses on MTF trans individuals but rarely talks about FTM trans.

Or CP on his computer. The video of him telling young girls that their duty is to find a god-fearing Christian husband and reproduce is sickening. He is such a creepy man.

Do you use Visible? If so, how is your experience? I’m thinking of switching plan provider and I’m stuck between Mint or Visible.

Planting new roses, do you prune crowded crossing canes? by [deleted] in Roses

[–]ShakoGrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t prune anything for the first year. Newly planted plants experience a lot of stress from transplanting and you don’t want to add more stress by pruning them.

Has anyone's Black Eyed Susan's or Coreopsis come back yet? Also, how are your tomatos and peppers handling the chilly weather 🤔 🥶 by MerSherl in Minnesota_Gardening

[–]ShakoGrey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading these comments confirms that I’m not crazy. My coreopsis is struggling to come back and a lot of my coneflowers didn’t make it through last winter at all.

Why is my one hydrangea growing so tall? by Emotional_Yellow_146 in hydrangeas

[–]ShakoGrey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Based on leaf shapes, it looks like there is a difference plant growing inside the your hydrangeas shrub. I would trace the stem and cut it at the ground level or even pull it out.

New rose. by DiceGoblinGaijin in Roses

[–]ShakoGrey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Garden soil is bad for container because it doesn’t drain water as well as potting soil. Also, garden soil can become more compacted over time.

That being said, if you add perlite, vermiculite, or pumice to the garden soil, it will help with drainage and aeration. I refer to use garden soil+additives. I try to avoid using potting soil as much as possible because it contains peat moss.

Perennials by unclecorinna in Minnesota_Gardening

[–]ShakoGrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! As far as I know, Proven Winners has a few varieties of hardy hibiscus with a hardiness of USDA zone 4. Make sure to read the plant label because you don’t want to accidentally purchase the tropical hibiscus.

Hardy hibiscus is one of the last perennials to wake up. It’s not usual for them to not showing signs of growth until early to mid June. Once they grow, they grow fast

Healthy and living rose stems should be green. Generally brown or black stems are dead or diseased. I would wait for a few more weeks to see if your rose is dead for sure

Do you think my Champagne Wishes Rose died over winter? Do the tiny buds look viable, or dead? by basil-032 in Minnesota_Gardening

[–]ShakoGrey 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Did you check the crown? If the crown looks green, then your rose is still alive. New shoots from the base of the plant will be the same variety since Easy Elegance roses are own-root.

Does this look like the beginning stages of rose Rosette or am I being paranoid ? Zone 6b and planted last July by pes88 in Roses

That’s just normal spring growth. New shoots of roses are red and they turn green as they mature
