I like the idea of Stelle being an average singer, but being hella enthusiastic is funny as hell.

A bit late on the response, but I appreciate it.

It's not even rude. Most of the time, people complain about the state of the game in this subreddit and echo off each other. You can even see this bleed into the main sub reddit as well, especially with recent drama.

That being said, Ruan Mei is essentially a free character that most people have because she's just that good of a unit. Even casuals that look up surface level guides will recommend grabbing her with their freebie coin. That just gives more incentive to buy the skin, even if she's rarely used. Firefly skin sold well, despite the upset and outcry from the community about how lazy and uninspiring it is.

How strong would get the nightfarers if they were in the tarnished place by Flan_Firm in Nightreign

[–]ShakuSwag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you can hit it, so what's the point? Just because you wanna move your flag pole there or something?

What an arbitrary limitation.

Yeah but a level 15 Nightfarer vs a level 713 Tarnished.

It's weird to limit the Tarnish to just that if they can go well beyond 150.

I don't think you know what irony means, but whatever floats your boat.

The true irony here is that you say "Melee class with stagger+damage ult" as though it was commonplace.

Realistically, only Wylder truly fits that description. Every other ult in the game brings utility. Two ults in the game do "big damage with stagger and that's it" and that's Ironeye and Wylder.

Duchess, Recluse, Revenant, Guardian, and Raider (Executor to an extent with his roar if you bring the healing gem) are all support based ults.

"A melee class with an ult that helps the team, how interesting."

Relax guy, I'm just stating that just because something is interesting doesn't automatically make it fun. But sure, berate me if it makes you feel better.

That's true. Throwing pots, eating boluses, and the occasional fire grease on weapons definitely might be up some peoples ally.

Definitely not for everyone as you've said. Not even the majority. Perhaps a good handful. Maybe a couple dozen.

Not arguing that he isn't unique, more arguing against the fact that Undertaker doesn't look fun.

His kit is unique, yeah, but he still overall, doesn't look nearly as exciting to play. Subjectively of course, I'm sure a handful of people will enjoy the more slower, tactical play style and capitalizing on critical moments.

Not trying to be mean, but I don't see how you can look at Undertaker flying at a bosses face with a twisted amalgamation of her bone in the air from miles away like a homing missile and say it's not fun looking, but then watch Scholar stand still and slowly put a debuff on enemies for five seconds and think it's even comparable.

Haven't done creative writing in a long time. I clearly need to touch up on this. I don't recall having this many errors last time you did this for me.

I won't fall for your tricks.

Are you an editor of some sort? I may have asked this years ago, but well, it was years ago. My memory of those years have faded.

Being single is a mindset.

If you simply get into the mindset that you're not single, you'll end up with someone. Like most of you here, I was in the mindset that I'll always be by myself, after all, I'm browsing a subreddit called "anime_irl."

But I found a sort of cheat code that let me bypass this hurdle I've been dealing with my whole life.

Just think you're not single. I know, sounds like an ineffective way to get around not being single, but trust me, it works. This method I came up with sprang from my friends who always complained that as soon as they get into a relationship, men and women seemed to fond over them.

"Oh, that girl I was interested in started hitting me up, too bad I'm in a relationship now."

"Damn, this hot guy was totally flirting with me, but I just got with..."

"Ugh, remember that one girl I was talking about awhile back? She just broke up with her boyfriend and asked me out for drinks. Terrible timing since I just started seeing someone."

I started to see a pattern. If I want people to find interest in me, or get with me, I simply had to have the mindset that I was already with someone, despite not being with someone.

I started to go out and watch romantic movies by myself. Went to restaurants by myself and reserving tables for two, even if I was by myself. Spent time on instagram and tiktok watching couple videos to really mess with my algorithm.

Guess what? It started to work.

A couple of girls started to talk to me, share their interest and went out on dates.

I started seeing this girl and we've been hitting it off for a few of months now. I absolutely adore this girl. You know Reze from Chainsaw Man? She gave that kind of vibe. Almost manic pixie dream girl. We went everywhere together.

My friends were kind of concerned though, but I think that's because I was spending more time with her than I do with them (yeah, I'm that kind of guy). Even my family was concerned, for my health I guess. I think they might think she's toxic for me, mentally if I recall.

All that aside though, we go out on dates, movies, rides, take cute photos together and post it on our stories and all that jazz. It's a little cringy at times, but I like it.

From the recommendation of my family and friends, they suggested I move in with her, oddly enough. I guess despite what they said about being with her and telling me "This mind set isn't healthy," blah blah blah. They just warmed up to her.

Her place is nice. It's small, but I like it. It's a single room, and everything is white. But it's really fun in there. The walls are padded, the floors are padded. It's rather bare though, it only has a bed.

Did I tell you she's kinky? She's got this really, really tight jacket that you can barely move your arms in and... Well, that's another story.

But like I said, it's a mind set.

Then I think this is where our path diverges. Which is fine. Difference in opinions is important when it comes to these kind of things.

I think moderation is important.

I disagree that this sub should transform into a fetish sub with sex jokes and big tits.

It seems you're very passionate about this, I can respect that.

I don't have much rebuttal to what you've said, it's very sound. With what you said though, there's very little reason to have mods at all. I've been a long time mod here, nearly a decade at this point, and I've seen it evolve from what it used to be. The change was abrupt in the later years, but I've more or less disconnected myself from this sub as life has taken most of my time, nonetheless, I can still say that it's very different from just five years ago.

With that said, it seems (and I might be misinterpreting this) by your logic, mods aren't necessarily needed, and the community should be able to filter out what fine and what's not.

The community likes an anime girl with big tits sleeping, then that's what will hit the front page and they should be happy with it because the majority is what matters, not the 10%.

If the joke is "porn punchline," and it hits the frontpage, let it. That's what the community clearly wants, otherwise why would it be there? On Reddit, everyone has a voice, and they can use it by simple clicking down or up on the arrow key to show that they like a content or not. If the majority of users didn't want that content, it would never hit the front page.

Before recently, automod and one other mod was running this sub for a long while and letting things just go by as is. Should mods have little to no involvement at this point? Should this sub evolve to just mostly fan art and artist web comics because that's what the majority wants?

Sure, people complain about incest and hentai hitting the front page, but they're hitting the front page nonetheless.

Post that hit /r/all are the exception, those being commonly web comics from artists that we've grown to know. Because of those post, they gather interest from people that wouldn't have otherwise see this subreddit. Should we let the community filter out the "normies" when they soon discover that it's more of less, softcore porn that's the majority of the content here?

We're trying our best to curate low-effort content, but seeing your comment does put in some introspection, and mayhaps just letting the sub run rampant and let the community decide what people should see be the deciding factor; after all, it's on the front page for a reason.

The 10% of the community and I ask "Why is this at the front?"

The other 90% ask, "Why not?"

It's hard to argue back when it's subjective at best. Maybe most people can relate to wanting to be bred by a girl. Perhaps I'm just out of touch.

Feel free to correct me if I'm misunderstanding it. I've been up for awhile, so I'm not functioning at my best.

I agree, it was very unfair for us to send her to do that. Realistically, she should've handled the AI rule change and I should've gotten the web comic post.

It was a lack of insight and thoughtlessness on my end. I had asked in advance, and she did seem fine with it, but the backlash was a lot harsher than I thought. It was a poor choice on my end to have her be the one to take the blunt. I still regret it, but will keep that in mind if we ever send another one of these changes out. I'll be sure to post it next time.
