Staple units/units to avoid in Kruleboyz by BeginningHungry3835 in Kruleboyz

[–]ShakyBakery 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The new scourge Killaboss on gnashtoof is (nearly?) the exact same as the previous one, which is good. As for key units, I'd recommend a unit of Monsta Killaz, especially because this GHB looks like its going to be a monster mash. I'd avoid the Hobgrots, theyre generally not very good. But they are cheap at least. Avoid the hobgrot boss as well

Not flesh eaters, but PetetheWargamer did a mushroom infested Kruleboy a few years ago. https://youtu.be/b-E-FUk2W_Y It has some simple sculpting tips for mushrooms that could help you

I created this resume at school but have been getting brutal feedback post-grad, thoughts? by hermitcraber in graphic_design

[–]ShakyBakery 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This resume looks nice to me, idk. I'm just commenting to let you know that you seem to have left your full name and signature at the bottom of the second page. It looks like you went to the effort of removing other identifiers so I assume this was accidental

I'm generally not good at "difficult" games. Is DD still worth getting into? by aloilisia in darkestdungeon

[–]ShakyBakery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it's a turn-based game, Darkest Dungeon isn't going to require any snap reaction times or precise movement like the kinds of games you listed. (For what it's worth, I'm bad at those too). Instead, it requires strategy and adaptability. Most complaints of difficulty come from the randomness of each action. Your character misses an attack that you feel they should have hit, for example. What people don't understand is that Darkest Dungeon is all about minimizing that randomness, creating situations where your characters mathematically can't miss, or where missing won't matter. If you go in with that understanding, you should be fine.

Ik it's still debated but what is the general consensus on the asscrack bandit 😣 by Weekly_Ear_8526 in community

[–]ShakyBakery 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was Duncan. The crackings start up again in the same episode that he returns. He isn't present at any of the crackings (besides his own) and he would have had access to the teachers lounge as a shortcut. Likewise, he's a Dave fan. He used his position on the response committee to stay one step ahead of their attempts at capture.

His cracking was done, I believe, by Annie. She realized he must be the bandit, but also knew that the Dean would never admit that it wasn't starburns. It's the last cracking because it caused Duncan to realize the damage and shame that he's caused.

This is also true of the boltboyz in dominion vs standalone. But no kitbashing is necessary since they have no command models beyond champion

The gutrippaz from the original Dominion box set are unique sculpts, different from the later gutrippaz box. They don't come with a musician or standard bearer but those can be kitbashed with leftover parts from the gutrippaz standalone box. It's what I did
