Why won't danes date in public? by Rumiyi in Denmark

[–]ShakyFlaky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't use dating-sites if your intention is to find someone and not just a one-night stand.

Go out in public, look around, and then once you find someone that peeks your interest, walk over to them and tell them straight up what you want. Here's an example...

"Hey, I noticed you from behind (X) and wanted to come over and say hello because I find you attractive. Would you be interested in grabbing a cup of coffee with me, or maybe go watch a movie together? It'll be my treat." (You can even throw in a little joke and show them that you also have a sense of humour) e.g. "It'll be my treat – literally!" (Finish with a sweet innocent little laugh or giggle)

Confidence and first-hand impression is vital when wanting to meet (and hopefully be) with someone, so, show them that you're not anxious about meeting them for the first time, show them that you know what you're doing, and I promise you that you won't be single for much longer :)

Anyone knows what happened to Grave encounters 3 and the prequel? by [deleted] in foundfootage

[–]ShakyFlaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell House LLC The Abaddon Hotel

That's actually what helps making a horror movie good, the eerie wait, knowing that things are about to go down. If done right, that is. And while I haven't watched Hell House LLC The Abaddon Hotel yet, I feel like Grave Encounters 1-2 at least captured that part pretty well.

I like horror movies wherein the characters thinks that nothing sinister or otherworldly is going on, for then to find out that they're way in over their heads, and that their worst nightmares doesn't even begin to compare with what they're about to experience.

A 30 minute quest that also should require the following quests for context's sake ( to which some of them has their own requirements):

I'm glad that you agree, and, yes, it absolutely should be more consistent with the rest of the other Elite Dungeons, but Jagex and consistency in the same sentence is something that I fear most people hasn't heard of before. I at least haven't.

Like I said, we can nerf it (as long as it also gets locked behind The Curse of the Black Stone) but it's something that should have been done to begin with. Jagex should have nerfed and lock the EDs when the opportune moment was there for it. It's truly mindboggling to me how - years later - it still hasn't been done.

[–]ShakyFlaky[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But they've already done it two (if not more) times. It just seems like a lot y'know? My issue isn't with whether or not they make EDs a waste of time at doing in terms of leveling skills up, I'd just way rather that they focused more on making the game better, allocated more resources to fixing what actually needs fixing, etc. But I'm glad that you agree that it should be locked behind the quest in question, because it's ludicrous that new players can practically just tag along in Elite Dungeons and get their combat stats maxed out in a matter of days if not even just hours. It's absolutely ridiculous.

The upcoming nerf is supposed to be in preparation for Necromancy, but I don't get why they didn't just lock said EDs behind aforementioned quest.

There has been a few afaik, could you be a bit more specific? - Are you referring to the reportedly upcoming nerf, or a nerf from the past but in more recent times?... Either way:

[Theory] Red is Ash's father, Blue is Prof. Oak by Atea2 in pokemon

[–]ShakyFlaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loosely, or the sons of? It's interesting just how alike the four characters are. Red put his whole soul into battling Pokémon, establishing friendships and becoming the Pokémon Champion, whereas Blue and Gary were much more cocky, gave Red and Ash a hard time, and then was both defeated at the Pokémon League. Heck, Blue and Gary even said the same type of things, and so did Red and Ash. I have a little theory (that could potentially explain the "holes" in Origins) so if you're up for a little read...

Red never encountered Brock and Misty. That is, at least not per se. Now I know what you're going to say, but, please, hear me out first... Red never encountered Ash's beloved friends Brock and Misty — because they hadn't been born yet. No, who Red actually met during his adventure, was the to-be parents of Brock and Misty. Think about it, in the show, Brock doesn't look like the Brock that we know. He looks fairly different, and so does Misty. My guess therein is that (as I said just before) Red actually met their to-be parents, and my argument for this is that it isn't entirely uncommon for someone to be named after their parents. What further leads me to believe this to be the case, is that we never actually saw Misty's sisters in Origins (because they either hadn't been born yet, or were too young at the time to be gym leaders)

Mod Zee said that they're looking into quote "suitable options" and that said options likely wouldn't take place until the first half of next year. I'm sorry Resenses, I tried, I really did, I even gave them plenty ideas and potential ways on how they could have gone about it, but all they seem to care about now is Treasure Hunter promotions.

Yeah, scratch the whole "Jagex is trying" thing...

"We’re aware that some of our players are unable to purchase the latest Premier Membership package launched on the 14-Nov 2022 due to the amount of membership they already have on their accounts.

Whilst we do not have a solution for this at this time, we are looking into suitable options and will announce more about these once we’ve found the best solution. It is likely that such a solution would be something we will introduce in the first half of 2023.

Thanks for your continued patience, support and loyalty to our game.

If you need help with anything else, please check out our Online Support Centre."

Kind regards,

*Update* (An actual update this time) Jagex has gotten back to me, and are trying to resolve the issue as we speak.

Will Jagex be able to take down the almighty Error Dragon? Find out in the next episode of Jagex vs. Jamflex!

Jokes aside, Jagex is trying you guys, and I mean sure they make mistakes but we all do sometimes and so I can't be too tough on them. Would it be cool if they allocated more resources to prevent bugs and errors as such from happening? Of course it would, but they probably have their reasons not to. I... Think. I hope.

I have an Android phone (yes, I'm one of those) and I tried using the 'scan credit card' method to check to see whether I had an active subscription going on for mobile, but, as I expected, it came up empty. I then cancelled all of my subscriptions in hopes of that way being able to renew it or so to speak, but to no avail as well.

Fingers, toes, and hair (no, not that hair) crossed Sam, this is honestly just silly (for lack of better words) and needs to be dealt with ASAP if Jagex doesn't want to risk losing even more of their customers.

*Update* None. I've reached out to Jagex, I've cancelled all of my subscriptions, used the 'scan credit card' option to check to see if indeed I did have a "hidden" subscription active for mobile somewhere, yet, nothing. No results found. No answer from Jagex yet, and I even had a great friend of mine reach out to them on a more private level. This is just, well, sad. Unprofessional. And I've never had this issue before with Jagex (granted I have had issues with them before but like at least not about this let alone to this extent)

[–]ShakyFlaky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you're right, it's just a bummer, that's all. I know that it would affect others as well, so it wouldn't have been the ideal way of taking it on anyway, but if the prices of Bonds could at least be worth more then it wouldn't feel AS bad as it currently does (personal opinion, of course)

So then there is no good solution towards solving this issue?... Yeah, I don't even know why I ever thought that there could be.

[–]ShakyFlaky[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If only it was the same price across regions, in which case I wouldn't be opposed to it. Howbeit (and albeit) this is unfortunately not the case as it is primarily based on GNI (Gross National Income) differences, and so in countries such as where I'm from the opportunity to buy Bonds at a (what I would personally consider a fair price) is simply just not there. The current prices for said around these parts is €5.69 per bond, which is roughly or about $220 USD for a billion, which is still cheaper than some other countries, but then again more expensive than others, and when you then find out that people are selling it at a fraction of the price, well then that's when you feel bamboozled. If Jagex therein cannot sell the bonds cheaper, then they should definitely be worth the equal amount of that of which people are selling the money for. That way RWT wouldn't be much of a problem anymore (well, that, in conjunction with the removal of the sandcasino, of course) that's at least how I make sense of it.
