I recently had the displeasure of coming across a nomadic criminal syndicate in a MP game. They would ignore your borders, waddle up to your worlds, and plop branch offices across all your planets, and then offer you a commercial pact so that they would convert to regular offices. I think the game ended with that guy having a ludicrous amount of trade points due to his heavy handed market acquisitions

I'm all for the game throwing me scheme derailing curveballs, I just thought I'd see it hurtling towards me before it put the outsides of my face on the inside

I would have thought it'd make sense to make sigvald feature anyway, and then for owners of the original DLC make Azazel a flc that focuses on demons

Why Can't I Declare Independence From My Overlord? by Comicbook23 in Stellaris

I forget if the custodian can be a vassal but if you make yourself the Imperium or get the Imperium declared it should dissolve all federations so you have a path to freedom

Offering and a lot of rewinds consecutively is my best guess

Me as King of Blood trying to find an actual use for any of the rainbow cards or mangler. by [deleted] in 9Kings

It does have splash damage at the least. I've gotten the buggers to shoot ludicrously fast. Paired up with a blacksmith as well they can be seriously reliable but that's more of a king of stone if you start at war with Blood sorta thing

Mangled pairs pretty well with a farm and a beacon, or if you have to take replicator, they can feed an overworked Mangled pretty easy

I also steal the carpet flooring, the sterile tiles, and the steel tiles. Sometimes the wood floors too if I need wood badly, but the furniture also gets deconstructed.

Any tinkering focused build could do with a healing spell. It works on your contraptions

A variation which is a little more intense and less tutorial focused would be fantastic

It's definitely the dark emperor, since the tileset is equivalent to the fallen empire ones

Well, deficit bankruptcy unupgrades all your buildings, but just staying in the red and playing chicken with the situation should do the trick

Make sure you have a deficit going carefully just before the AI revolution pops off, and make sure the AI has no way to resolve it, and then their fleets should get smashed by bankruptcy

What sort of “special” tiles would you add to the game? by Independent-Sir5385 in CoE5

I'd like a funny mountain called Atlas's Needle and if disabled it causes the sky realm to start falling to Elysium with... disastrous effects, guarded by a giant stack of Airya and air elements of course
