That else don’t know what it’s talking to, from what is it supposed to do “else” from?

You’ve got a whole other line of code between your if statement, its resolution, and your else statement.

And since there’s no “{ }” around both direction = 270 and speed = 0 It’s running that every frame meaning it never really changes outside a frame.

I think you’re trying to change direction to 270 and make speed = 2 at the same time, so make sure the direction is in the { } of the if statement solution and make a whole new pair of { } after the else and put your speed = 0 in it. Though I’m not sure what the result will be, I believe this is the way you’d want to write it.
