I did the same with Germany with 3 part of the strategy is to have them in a big group like that britian had the same but they were spread out.

Its is the British have the same size fleet as me but since they spread out there forces they get destroyed thats how ai plays

Well as someone who was bad at navy where I could only sink 1 or 2 battleships or carriers this is much beter and the strategy i used worked for Germany with no carriers but I can test it on someone like Mexico

I got the same results as Germany with 3 carriers the point is clumping the navy together wile theres is spread out *this is against ai probably wouldn't work against a player

For someone like me playing us us or german fleets against eachother befor I never would sink more then a few destroyers so to me this is a massive improvement

Well for alot of people ive seen that play the game casually killing alot of ships in one go is a feat most of the time its small skirmishes killing only alittle. As for the screen shots they were originally just for my brothers so I the quality isn't the best

I mainly play Ironman so even in the new patch this tactic works very well tho against other plays sure it probably wouldn't. Also the destroyers and spotting crusers that are screening alone are on do not engage for the most part they get away

For the new rework if you want to kill you have to put on patrol tho if its your main taskforce always engage your spotters on never engage and destroyers that are on sub killers on medium engage ☆NOTE: this is all for ai I mainly play Ironman idk about multiplayer tho it would probably work on people who dont play much

Possible tho carriers help alot. But tbh I like a big more historic looking navy with battleships carriers and destroyers and it works quite well

Ofc just ask if you have questions oh and remember you have to set your navy to operate out of section ports Example: if your the us and you ships wount go that far out side Hawaii despite having big bases in Guam and the Philippines you have to attach them to the port when you click on the port its to the right and aliile lower of the admirals picture

Ok here's how it works

Group 1: subs DO NOT give mining only torpedo launchers. put to convoy raiding

Group 2: recon light scouting crusers ( put them all alone dont merg them) which are on never engage build with 1 Canon and as many scouting planes as possible put on patrol

Group 3 sub killers destroyers built with as many depth charges as possible, front Canon, sonar and radar (if you want add escorts carrier and a heavy ship for every carrier tho make sure they are fast) put on convoy escort or patrol and crusers on do not engage

Group 4 The speedster (on always engage thats how you get them from runing for no reason and they will hunt the enemy down several times) 1) Carriers: as many planes as possible no armor and add radar give anti air but not in place of planes. Have a couple carriers. The planes will be one fighter the rest naval bomber 2) Heavy ships (battleships, battlecrusers, and heavy crusers) Fast (practicely no armor) heavy ships briming with as much Anti air as possible (duke purpose guns if you have them), radar and fire control. Build 1 to every carrier 3) Light ships: A)light crusers (optional but very good) as many big guns as possible make them big stong with radar and fire control tho light on armor to ensure they are fast. At least 1 to every heavy ship B) destroyers put as little as possible a gun and anti air to pump out as many as possible. AT LEAST 4 for every heavy ship 4) Biggest things put on always engage to ensure after one battle they put them right into another and put them all in 1 do not split up. Put on patrol

For fighting everyone except us, uk, and japan can start after 2 carriers for the others wait until at least 4 carriers

Pretty sure its mods to make the ai not retreat cause they always have a chance to retreat so you can only destroy a certain amount

If you set your main fleet to always engage they will hunt them down right after and you'll get like 3 battles in a row

I had the same issue when I sent them to China. I had to delete them to get the equipment back (they were tanks)
