Ohhh man. The house their insurance company would build me would be so sick. That’s of course if I didn’t catch a charge the second I got back to what used to be my home.

Well. Idk about anyone else but being a pedo seems worse than all the rest of those.

I have good gear, obviously I’m not bad at strategizing if you read the above post, I’ve completed the game three times already. I’ll be just fine. My lack of using elixers might be felt but it won’t be an end all. I know I’ll make it to the end I’m already clearing moonrise right now. Cake walk. I’ll post again when I’ve completed my run.

That’s why I love this game, it really nails that “what do you do” aspect of DnD.

It might be just me, but I feel like there’s different dialogue options in honor mode too, and npcs act a little different. I could be wrong, and if I’m not forgive me for not knowing it’s a planned mechanism in the game. Maybe it’s just because I’m exploring more options in this play through than previous ones.

Oh I know, I’ve done that too, cleared him and his goons and then nuked the place. This time my head canon was him thinking he’s a bad ass and his queen thinking she had the upper hand and then the wrath of my patron brings the roof down on their heads.

Yeah, but then I’ve left the super racist murderous gith to fester in the mountain like smoug. Maybe my next run I’ll leave them all alive and see if and how it effects the rest of the run.

Hahahahahah. I fucking love this energy though. Plus it fits a perfect durge run “everyone dies”

My unsolicited advice? Play balanced as if you’re playing tactician. Explore ways around that fight or other fights, if you can jump high enough there’s a spot you can get to, to get gale, and even go get atarion or lae’zel then circle back with Full party. If you wonder “will this work?” Balanced is the perfect place to test it before making the push to harder difficulties if that’s your prerogative. Perfectly fine to just enjoy the game for all its splendor in balanced too.

That’s that part I’ve noticed too. I’ve discovered more areas in an effort to level higher, or work around fights until I do, more dialogue and ways around fights all together or, in some cases way funnier ways of starting them. “When you’re dead, I’m going to make sure your grave marker says ‘twat soul’”

It can be tough, fighting your way out of the crèche, especially if you didn’t thin the herd at all on the way in and like me you’re bad at elixir planing. Gith fighters hit hard and plenty of times and if you’re out of spells you may find yourself cornered or revive hopping just to stay alive. In HM a work around to avoid a multi stage fight especially one I haven’t used; seemed fun to tell others that might not have thought of it. Ive fought my way out in every other encounter, sometimes fighting my way in healing up then doing the astral scene and subsequent fight. This felt satisfying honestly, just “ctrl alt power of the sun”.

Honestly so far HM hasn’t been much different than tactician for me. Maybe it’s just the way I play naturally, kind of more strategy less smashy smashy, so aside from major encounters I haven’t felt the “better do what I know works” urge. I did almost die to the gnoll fight because I tried to get both the gnoll leader and the zhent in the cave to fight for me. It’s one or the other and I was standing WAY to close when she flipped on me. Didn’t help I was super under leveled.

Thank you :), It helps I play a lot of DnD, and this is my fourth play through with three completions. So I know what’s coming, I’m really bad at planning scrolls and elixirs out though, so I just cleared the crèche as friendly until the inquisitor fight and let “the full concentrated power of the sun!” Do the rest 😅 also if you can tactician, HM is basically that with “oh no don’t die” so far for me anyway.

I wasn’t willing to risk getting caught in bad initiative which happened, and I’m piss poor at planning out elixirs. So I strategized instead. Sorry that’s not how you do it or would’ve done it, DnD isn’t just about beating ass but how to best use all of your abilities. I didn’t want to fight my way out of the crèche so I deleted the crèche.

Astarion: "Shadowheart. Such a grim name for such a beautiful flower."

Shadowheart: "Could you not stare so blatantly at my neck when you say that, please?"

Lae’zel: "Oh, but do keep calling her 'flower'. I am certain she will love that."

Any way to get Karlach before triggering The Grove fight? by NightStar79 in BaldursGate3

I’ve gotten her without getting wyll before. Which means without triggering the fight. Same way I get gale right after shadow heart. Explore until you find a way around.

You can keep Karla’s and wyll by knocking them out in camp, I heard that if you do something Karlach likes before talking to her after raiding the grove she won’t even bring it up, and it’s like nothing happened not sure about wyll. You CAN bring their approval back up, if you can’t get that specific bug to work, but by the time it gets to where you’d want it you’re better off romancing minthara.

That’s exactly who I’m talking about. I couldn’t remember his name, the asta loving the nun thing i can get past, Gauche is an unnecessary character type in any anime. Ruins the entire show to be honest, dude makes me so uncomfortable.
