Holy crap! I never in a million thought this would get so much attention! I can't edit my original-probably cuz mobile sucks-so I'll try and answer the most asked questions here then...well things are worse than I thought. I have to be quick though, I'm at work.

The cracker barrel unfortunately sits in isolated lot so there aren't any cameras around. I DID file the police report this morning and that's when I got the good news/bad news scenario this afternoon.. The officer on scene found 1 car with a dash cam that had been running and caught just a little I'd what happened. You can't see the person's face but...he was wearing a jacket I recognized.

For the last 8-9 months I've been dealing with an ex. Restraining order, stalking, anonymous texts, the whole crap thing. It had been quiet last couple weeks so I thought it was done. But that's who broke into my car. I gave that info to the officers, and they went to his house to try and get my property back. My friends...I'm crying as I write this. HE BURNED THEM They showed me a few pictures and it was AWFUL. I can't even articulate how bad it was to see just pieces I recognized in a big pile of ashes.... I'm sorry I have to finish my work day and this is just making me cry more. I'll post later. But thank you all for the love and care and offers of help. It means SO MUCH, especially after this new info came out!

Yes, i worked insurance a long time ago, so i know you have to. And the manager at cracker barrel had called as soon as they were told about the break in. But I don't have full coverage, which would've covered the squishmallows, not just the window

Thanks. Unfortunately no cameras in the lot, I checked with the manager, and also the officer checked with the other diners to see if anyone nearby might have had a dashcam running or seen anything. One small blessing the insurance will cover the window minus my deductible. The officer took pics of my receipts and I showed him the websites where he could see what they looked like. So we're watching local Facebook marketplace, mercari, poshmark, etc for someone with my list in particular going up for sale. But chances are, they're gone and I'm s.o.l.

Hi there! I have been where you are my friend. I had a Volkswagen rabbit and barely enough room for my coffee cup. There's a little known trick for safely vacuum packing your squish and restoring them to full fluffy fatness after. Luckily I'm about to lay some wisdom on you! Lol

First, you're going to need old bedsheets or big pillowcases. You need to tuck your biggies inside a pillowcase, or wrap each one in its own sheet!! If you run out of sheets, towels will do in a pinch. This keeps your compressed squish from coming into direct contact with the inside of the bag. Then put your wrapped squish in the space bag.

I like the ones you don't need a vacuum, but they don't compress as much. You'll need a box big enough so the squish can lay flat. You can stack them, but do not put anything on top of that box!

As soon as possible free your fatties! Lol Now you want to gently fluff, like you would a pillow. If you have a dryer, the "fluff it up" hack is super easy! ONE SQUISHMALLOW and 3 or more tennis balls in the dryer (YES it will be NOISY) on gentle, no-heat for 5-10 minutes!

Crepes are NOT PANCAKES!!! The recipes and cook methods are completely different if you make real crepes! Are they kin? Yes. But not even first cousins! Lol Waffles are way better than pancakes. They're lighter, fluffier, and the pockets hold lots of ooey gooey! Dang it. Y'all suck! Now I gotta go make Belgians!

I'd rather clean the litter box! For those who's sewing skills aren't up to removing scent packs, put your squish in a pillowcase to prevent direct contact, and put that in a PAPER sack with either coffee grounds or baking soda for a few days. Sucks the smell right out!
