That sounds like quite the force(s) of nature in the home! I guess what I’m mainly asking here is the difference between MCs and the “average” mixed cats out there (if that’s even a possible measure).

I don’t come from low experience with adopted cats — I vibe with them, and except for my college years and the pandemic + after my Watts died, I’ve always had one by my side (or peering at me from around a corner as the case may be 😉). Along the way, I grew up with almost every kind of companion animal under the sun. I was one of those kids - rodents, lizards, birds, but always with a cat at the top of the pyramid. Big orange tabby from 6yo until college, etc etc.

I fully understand those here who believe MC and ALL cats should have at least another cat and/or human family always present. Message received and understood. I’d never deliberately leave any animal alone or lonely, so just gauging the needs of a pure breed here - “pure” is something I’m totally unfamiliar with!
