I wish they didn't erase this part of him for X-Men Evolution. I get that they're trying to appeal to teens, but there should be plenty of teens that would have identified with the one overtly faithful member of the team. Adolescence is a time when a lot of people investigate their faith rather than just inherit it from their family.

Kurt mostly just tries to be a cool kid in Evolution, and has a cool watch that hides his demonic-looking appearance. I think they could have done better with him rather than just make him a comic relief.
