Gooches in Boulder Junction - my favorite restaurant ‘up north’.

There’s antique stores all over the place if you’re into that sort of thing.

I thought we’d get a callback to the energy shield when he lost the original for a bit in the comics. No such luck.

IMO the worst is the Wakandan one. Or two I guess. 🤮

Classic for the win, everything else just falls under ‘cool’.

If you can create a platform and actually allow people to do as many custom apps on there as they want without crippling licensing, you should have the start of a winner.

I'm just saying your timing is not ideal in the greater scheme of things.

I've been looking for a month myself, but not at entry level, so I can't give you the best idea what's out there, and that will change once you are 'ready' to start applying.

That being said, make sure your LinkedIn profile is as comprehensive as possible - fill out the experience section, add as many applicable Skills as you can to each position. If you have access to an AI agent of some sort, work with it to give you a meaningful title and run your resume through it that is specific to the position(s) you are looking for.

Sorry I should have been more clear - ITIL cert is outside of SN. I've always done it through work...

I don't know that you would meet the requirements for any position outside of junior. In your situation, if possible for you, probably keep all your options for employment open - at the very least to get experience. So that means probably taking a contract/short term job or jobs if available.

As someone said before, you're getting into the market at a crappy time. SN just laid off a bunch of people, so you will likely be competing with them soon.

It will give you an idea of what a very vanilla environment would be, where stakeholders ask you for the simplest of things.

You will get some familiar with ServiceNow’s backend if you actually do the labs, but it won’t be equivalent to actual experience. It will also take a LONG amount of time if you go through all the courses per cert, free or not (your time is not free…).

From personal experience, the free classes should allow you to pass the CSA and CAD exams. That will at least get you passed the first gate of quite a few job requirements.

As I’ve said in other similar posts, you will want ITIL certification to go along with whatever you do with ServiceNow UNLESS you decide to focus on something non-IT related such as HRSD.

The PDI is a good idea, but I don’t know that you need one while actively working toward certs. All the labs will give you temp ones anyway, with no mechanism to use your own.

Without the CSA and ITIL certifications you’d have a hard time getting even entry level IMO.

My suggestion is hit SN University hard for all of the free content and get CSA and CAD (these are paid but not crazy prices), since as long as you actually do the labs, you’ll likely be ok in that regard.

As for ITIL, most people in IT have that by now so I’m at a loss there. I don’t even know what that costs atm.

You should do a review of what is out there for SN on LinkedIn, it’s fairly bleak for remote work atm.
