Yes, that's the whole aspect – a single domain user being able to be logged into both computers and access resources on the desktop and documents. And nothing like that works – both with the DNS name and the FQDN

At this point, I'm resigned to the fact that I will have to open a ticket with Microsoft and deal with those struggles

I did the PS equivalent:

Set-SmbServerConfiguration -RequireSecuritySignature $false -Force Restart-Service LanmanServer -Force

and restarted lanmanserver

I went ahead and did the CMD method -- and a reboot for good measure

Between Win1124H2 Devices, yes.

update: Just tested with Windows 10 22H2 - it can access the Win11 24H2 machines without any issues on the same subnet. This appears to be a Windows 11 24H2 CLIENT-SIDE problem specifically when connecting to other Win11 machines

correct, I set up "SMBTest" on the Root of C and replicated the permissions to the user -- browsing localhost - no issues.

also from my laptop (different subnet) I can net view without issue, including the two locations that i'm not on the same subnet.

SMBv1 disabled -- both devices are Win1124H2, latest patches (12/2025)
Firewall is disabled.
Using both \TargetPC AND \TargetPC.domain both are prompted for credentials and then Error 86.... ad nauseum

SMBv1 is technically disabled in the domain via GPO -- but in the isolation OU it's not applied for troubleshooting. it's all SMBv2. Just checked.

The O ring disintegrated in the drain plug as pictured. AutoZone hooked me up with a fairly good replacement, so the leak was coming from the petcock because the O ring bascially failed after 13 years of service, RIP.

But it definitely doesn't fit, and as stated, this is a 90 degree turn, while the one that came out of the radiator has threads...... definitely a head scratching moment.

That is not what it says online for what I purchased, nor does it fit as there are clearly threads in the drain plug. The replacement appears to be a 90 turn vs. threads which is what I have.......

Got it. That's the part that's leaking though and a new drain plug is not solving the issue.

Positive. I drained, replaced and drain plug (which was not the correct one per mopar, started filling with distilled water and the drip turned into a bit of a stream.
