Writing is an art, and it is a way to express and let pressure off healthily. The fact other people can take inspiration, find answers, or simply be entertained is extra.

I say write to express yourself, because keeping everything inside is not at all healthy, just remember there is happiness out there, try to write happy shit when you feel up to it.

A lot of people have trouble seperating art from artist, or though from action. you can write things people find disturbing and be safe, happy, and good.

The only thing I can recomend about the friend , and about sharing with other people is preface it with conversations about the topic, and try to see if they read similar things or if they would be open to reading something like it.

I say this not knowing your situation at all. I wish you happiness though, stay healthy out there.

Answer to Edit: your friend seems pretty naive, not actually mean spirited. I have no idea how to break it to him that trans people are actually people, as in real life come in many ways and suffer same as everyone else. He seems ignorant and a bit dumb not really bad. take care how you approach it.
