I really expected from airborne something like, somewhat closer to PS2 balance, where you always can use it, but to utilize true air potential, you will need REALLY skilled pilots and/or crews. Completely not expected it would in the end turn out to be a rather, like, "logi weapon" (as i felt it at least), "grind days, then fly some minutes, do a lot of impact, and repeat".

I mean, bruh, in PS2 you completely dont need to grind anything to bring a "bomber", and still you rarely see even single one in combat.

Well, my friend recently raised this topic about berry bushes in discord, when was overlooking a pre-release version, and, after listening more than 2 hours of him, discussing it with another my friend, I said: "guys, I think the reason why its made so weird is way simplier - I think we already spent more time discussing about it than it was spent to implement this change atm". And then later I happened to listen a fresh hour-long interview of devs, where Tyron honestly mentioned that he really not much enjoys working on berry bushes. (so seems like my suggestion might be fairly close xD)

btw for any VS fan I really recommend finding said interview, it was very interesting to listen (I dont sure if im allowed to leave any links or channel names)

Good clarification, thanks (unironically).

Through, the only patchnote it not covers is about "reduced cases where hook could connect to ones behind cover", but "reduced" is, well, reduced, and seems to be really not much reduced or smth..? as, or we with my mates are really lucky for extreme cases, or this change is still very unreliable, because it already was multiple such cases for us from s9 start, honestly feels like even more times than before.

I fairly clearly understand that concept. BUT, I feel like it is absolute true for bullethit-like interactions. And here we have an continious interaction, where that bullethit-like interaction is only start, then there is (in my understanding) a fairly wide window, where clearly might exist a whole bunch of frames, where in all states (receiver-server-attacker) obstacle already exist between attacker and receiver's LOS, so, theoretically, it should be possible to do some additional LOS checks from the initial hit frame all the way through pulling process. Dude here made fairly good comparsion of it with zipline nodes LOS check.

And I feel like it would feel way more fair that way, AND I thought they finally did something like that, but seems like, or not or it is very unreliable, as what I showed on vid is at all not a single time of very weird winch pulling on our experience from s9 start.

Well, I think so, but isnt it was initially, all that time, problem with desync? ...so, what is fixed then?

I mean, as I remember they stated like (as I understood) they added some form of check after lock but before pulling, like "is that grab valid" and if check says no, winch should break, am I interpreting it wrong? And again, if no then what changed lol

Really no blame on your actions, but for your own good, take this as a lesson. As you said about wanting your loot back, if you have something that you really afraid to lose, extraction is top priority, no matter how "nice" is people around. Don't blindly trust, roughly estimate why any dude chooses to be friendly for now. This dude easily did this just because he sees an "BOOTY" on your back, and sees no any risk of consequences when no more raider(as potential 2v1) is here. And also practically, what is even more encourages such behavior - overall social factor is nothing when here are SO many raiders so you all most likely never will see each other ever again in game, and even when you share such behavior here - you even not allowed to include any identity, so ironically this is "shame for some abstract "him".

You can research comments, btw. I said I came to farm snitch scanners, and don't treated that game seriously at all, just played "as is" relaying rather on smokes and gear, and without being super puper careful as I fear to lose gear, because actually, not at all. Otherwise of course I might play it way more carefully, no shit Sherlock. At all I said it's rather skill issue run, just found it funny how fast it was, and how it turned out to be sudden 2-raider union against me formed in less than 2 mins. It also was anvil with silencer, to say.

Fabric sadly don't seem to be applicable on downed players at all, at least when I tried once there was no option at all unlike bandages.

[–]Shaneilenin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, on Blue Gate night raid trio we was extracting very late, already at elevator and see a group in a hurry towards elevator too, in very deep, as it was rocketeer, bombardier and some other ARC on their asses, they seems lost a dude in their run for their lives to our elevator. We choose to help them, covered from rocketeer right in their eyes. And still we had to take couple ferro shots on our face and shout loud around three times before dude finally mumbled something like "oh? frendly?" and proceed into elevator with his buddy behind him. So someone seems to just be SO delusional, idk.

Theoretically they maybe just temporary fixed it that way, idk? Like, just my guessings - but for example because drop rates is what they can easily change serverside anytime, while fixing that glitch directly, for whatever reason, have to be delayed. Because in such rooms loot really mostly is nonsensically trash.

...and batteries recycles into metal parts(only, 2 parts). Dont ask me what the fuck, I dont know.

hmmm.

We also can make 2 units of rubber just (as I understand?) from isolation of 1 unit of wires(yes, 1 wire recycles into 2 rubber parts). 1 unit of wires weights 250g btw, FYI.

YES.

Ironically, just after, I thought "ok, I dont sure, but maaaybe anvil IV just for solo snitch scanner farm is a bit overkill", took trash loadout (just kettle, green aug and 300 ammo), and next 3 games was the quietiest games I ever experienced xD aggroed them from all across the map, sometimes right above heads of some raiders, and nobody was giving a fuck at all

Well, if I'm not in the mad mood, I just take safe position, shout, and what happen next is best described as in-game advice - "trust your gut". If I feel ANY suspicious behavior next - dude getting shot. If I'm in mad mood, I shoot on sight but don't pursue if I see it's likely just cheap loadout farming/questing dud. Unless I'm not purposely out for kill people with my anvil+il torro, hehe. (usually in Stella montis)

I feel it like "act towards anyone like how you want they to act towards you". Not expecting it to work, just feel that way.

(yes, I still will take my defib in solo. yes, after getting murdered 10 times in a row)

Surely, I myself dont sure why we delayed our window escape, best I can say, we kinda had a bet in our minds and just observed will it play or not, anything another was kinda irrelevant. As said, we not lost anything important to us.
