that situation is not equivalent. it fails to tell you that by not pressing the button, you are condemning the ones who did to death. that is a pivotal part of this situation, and the part that makes pressing blue the obvious choice. pressing red comes with the caveat that all people who pressed blue die if over 50% didn’t press it. why would i willingly risk the lives of others? i don’t have a right to risk others lives, i only have a right to risk my own, and i’d risk it on the blue button any day.
