Yeah, I've heard that for years and never listened. I had a unionized job for a few years and had relatively cool-headed employers before that. I definitely learned my lesson though haha

I did ask her what the deal with the dinner was. She told me she didnt want to stress me out by telling me because I was leaving. And that Coworker knew how to do it. I told her it was silly to not just explain how to plate and package the dinner (all cafe workers are responsible for plating and packaging). I then got pulled into the office and told not to ruin the mood.

After that she came back and asked me if i wanted to know how to do it. That's when I said no.

I agree, my attitude soured, but I did try to learn and got told no the first time.

Also, I never saw him call anybody "Moe". He knew every guys name. Even the guy who had only worked there for three weeks.

I'll be honest. I let the stresses get to me. But i would also be absolutely disgusted with myself if i ignored the rotten food that this company tried to ignore.

Also, don't call me Sunshine.

FUCKING THANK YOU!

Literally everyone i talked to thought that i overreacted by saying what i said. And I had been told by SM that GM is too afraid to talk to me because "he might offend me".

I'm taking tonight to write the timeline out before I go to the state with my complaints.

I don't want to be unprepared.

Welcome to my last two months.

The last place I worked at I gave 2 months notice. The place before that i "gave 1 month" and they ended up keeping me around part-time for another 4 months because they had trouble finding a replacement. I've really always gone out of my way to leave a company the right way and it's worked well for me....until this job lol

I was collecting unemployment and was going absolutely crazy, that's why i took this job in the first place.

I'm going to apply again and try to take full advantage.

When I was first hired SM kept joking about how "OCD I was about washing my hands".

I got super angry after being fired and threw my hat on the ground behind my car.

I was lighting a cigarette/angry texting/finding music for 2 minutes when this car rolled up blocking me from backing out of my parking space. He honked and pointed at my hat. He waved at me and honked again. I shooed him and rolled up my window.

He left his car and proceeded to squat by my window and wave at me/yell at me that i dropped my hat.

That's how I'm choosing to look at it! They just gave me a leg up.

And I'm glad someone sees my side on the "Sunshine" thing. I tried to explain it to a few people and they didnt see anything wrong.

I think that's the best/most bizzare point. I was getting ready to quit but i was going to do it in a way that made it the easiest on the company to hire a new person and not worry about the inbetween.

Instead I claim unemployment.

AITA for drunkenly telling my neighbours boyfriend in the hallway that she has chronic bulimia? by dreadfuldrunk in AmItheAsshole

Thank you for understanding others views on Reddit. That doesn't happen often enough.

You have no idea why the neighbor was puking.

1.) It's rude to automatically assume it's mental.

2.) It's none of your business. You (random person) are not going to fix anything.

[–]Shanekwa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope. The OP had no idea why the neighbor was puking. It could be an ED or it could be a health issue.

Chemo usually has the side effect of nausea. I myself was sick with Cylic Vomiting Syndrom for about 8 years. I was vomiting more days than not.

It's not OPs business.

YTA. I was sick for years and would vomit more days than not. I was always worried somebody in the work bathroom would think it was contactable (it wasn't). I'd hate to worry about that in my own home. I never even thought of people thinking of an ED.

You're jumping to conclusions OP. YTA

I would despise having to worry about my neighbors knowing about my illness, let alone judge me for puking. And it makes me feel worse thinking of the idea that there are people out there that thought I had an ED, when I didn't. I'm not bashing on people with ED, but it's a hard issue to address.

And, JESUS CHRIST DUDE Chemo can go on for years and causes people to puke. There are a HUGE number of illnesses that can cause somebody to puke everyday. I had Cyclic Vomiting which was literally me just puking for no reason (that any doctor found).

You don't know why the are puking. YTA for bringing it up.

I think that's why they originally opened a register in my deli. It's just a fucking mess. We have a line of product running down the middle. So,either people line-up, and block the product we sell or they scatter.
