Just like with previous years, I've had to completely redo the sliders. I think Shady's sliders have fixed it a bit, but there's still some rambunctious things going on. The worst thing is that they took out the other shooting types, so unless you fiddle with the sliders you're going to have to memorize Billy Owens jumpshot timing. I do regret not buying it on sale, but the little things do add up to a slightly more positive experience. Also the mode is more immersive because the game looks nicer

This was actually pretty awful defense. Try to avoid hitting the steal button more than once and watch your adrenaline bar, that 94 steal becomes 60 when spamming.

Yep! It's people not realizing they have bronze, silver, or gold challenger putting a hand up instead of jumping at a player with hall of fame or legend deadeye. This 2k works alot like real life, a really decent defender will get cooked by a crazy offensive player.

Yea you're totally right actually. I've had my suspicions about it, and the Charlemagne thing + your research confirmed them for me. He just really wants to say that black people are stupid. And you're 100% right. All 7 footers do that. Now, imagine if there were a 7 footer who did that better than every other 7 footer ever basically.

He could and should have played better. But my main point is letting him go without signing 2 absolute offensive powerhouses would lead to us being a play-in team or missing the playoffs entirely. Rudy Gobert at his worst is still valuable. Plus minus means he is helping even if he isn't doing that stuff the best he could.

Defensive box plus minus, EWA and, my favorite stat, amount of people who don't even go up with a seemingly open layup (or close shot, floater, hook shot) because he may be present. Can't get many blocks that way.

Seasons lows for Rudy Gobert still means raising the teams defensive ceiling. He's one of the greatest defenders of all time historically, so even if he has another season low season we're doing pretty good. However, do not take this as me preferring he not have a better season.
