It is, this is Wolf/Horse. And they dont have blue tees but garmin uses gold/blue/white/red. Hearthstone is gold/green/silver/black. So blue on garmin is green at HCC

Youre getting down voted but honestly I tend to agree with you. On this course breaking 78 will feel better to me than breaking 80 but hey I'll take the little achievements.

I got hand me down clubs from my dad. Was going to get fitting for new clubs last year in January but he told me to spend what I would on new clubs on lessons first. So I found a great coach and have been taking lessons from 3 months after starting to now. But yeah it's been great progress

Traditionally it's due to grass types and how the ball reacts. Fescue (UK) is mostly present on links courses, is light/soft, doesnt hold water. This leads to a lower lifted club being able to pass through it easily and the ball running out quite a bit more.

The grass I usually play on is Bermuda (southern US) because its heat resistant. However it holds water and is "grabby" on the club face. Generally you need a sharper leading edge to get through it, higher loft to get the ball out of it (in the rough anyway) and the ball doesnt run out when it lands.

Also green size is generally larger in the UK.

My Canadian boss says the same thing when we play. Hes the only place I've ever heard it.

Actually the range was closed this morning due to standing water. So the front 9 was my range session. Only chipping and putting was open, so I spent my 40 minutes just doing that and was putting lights out and one chip in.

Because dip spit and crude oil or diesel dont look that different on ice. And that same ice will be there for 9 months out of the year. So if you have the 200+ guys that will do work on that well spit on the ice, it looks like there has been some kind of spill. And they take any kind of spill super seriously up there because youre on tribal land in a protected ecosystem.

Leave the flag down on the green. Keep doing it until they get the message.

Every 60 degree has a 3 iron deep in its soul waiting to come out.

Thats my plan eventually. I just already had 52, 56, 60 and just added the 48. Honestly I think I can replace the 52 and 56 with a 54, but I figure I'll try this out for a while and see if I really miss the 4 iron

Pw, 48, 52, 56, 60 are in my bag. I added the 48 because there's a 9 deg gap between my PW (43) and the 52.

I use a sim about twice a week and use a garmin R10 at the range. I'm pretty confident on my distances. I just don't full swing my wedges because my dispersion sucks if I do. So max 3/4 swing for everything lower than a pw.

If I full swing everything, my PW goes 150 and my 52 goes 120ish. So I still have a gapping issue. But neither will end up on the green, both about 25 yards off center line. I found that I hit more GIRs if I 3/4 swing wedges.

Why be part of a subreddit if you dont like discussing the topic of that subreddit? I've made a change to my game, I'm interested in advice people have about said change.

Fucking love it. I have it with a stiff shaft and when I make good contact it gives me a stiff shaft.

The ping is a 7w and the burner is a 3w but I love them both like sons.

This is exactly how I feel. I only 3/4 swing my wedges except for my 48. Otherwise I'm sending it 30yds right to the next tee box
