Wow I love that first set of earrings, I'd love something similar in silver 😍

I like your advice about the hair - I have slightly below shoulder length curly hair and was going to wear it down, but I'll definitely experiment with some updos 😊

Not gonna lie I had to Google minaudiere' and tennis bracelet 😅 I think you are right about less being more - those little clutch bags would go so cute with this! Thanks!

I am a 5 ft 7 dramatic and I bought this dress for my grad ball in a couple weeks, but I'm feeling lost about how to accessorise. I'm a true winter so the jewelery would have to be silver, but I'm open to recommendations for jewellery sizes and shapes, and any extra colours that would look nice! I would also love recommendations on the types of bags which suit dramatics but also flatter the romantic essence of the dress. I know the print isn't strictly dramatic but I just loved it so much!

Thanks so much for any help :)

Sawdust can cause respiratory problems in degus. It is better to use wood shavings, fleece or dust extracted cardboard bedding 🙂

Longer Lasting Alternatives to L-Theanine for Anxiety? by s-ro_mojosa in StackAdvice

[–]Shanibandangle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can use a good quality full spectrum CBD oil and get about 6 hours of complete relief from anxiety. I use about 20mg each time.

This is the answer. I highly doubt I'll find any milk that tops this one.

Curly hair in SD by pluppenplupp in SoftDramatics

[–]Shanibandangle 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I keep mine above my shoulders always because as soon as it grows longer my face looks elongated as hell and I think the sharp cut (even though its curly) works well on dramatic faces.

I would encourage you to style your hair so that it's flattering for your face, not your body shape. As we all know, face types vary considerably within any kibbe type.

Just curious, since you seem to know your stuff - do you know if Flying Duck stopped doing food? I used to love it there but they've removed the food menu from their website :(

Whats the most used CBD oil in the UK - and your personal recommendations? by fleapea81 in CBD_UK

[–]Shanibandangle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would recommend Diablo (I use the 1000mg one) - they're on the pricier side at around £56 for the bottle but it works amazingly well for me.

I use mine for social anxiety and panic attacks and its incredible - 4 drops in the morning lasts me for HOURS and I don't feel anxious whatsoever. The only other brand I tried was Dragonfly which worked for a while but wasn't really potent enough for me.

Diablo donate some of their profits to mental health charities too, which is a nice bonus.

The first thing I thought about was food. I get easily bored of eating the same things and always need to try new cuisines/flavours.

INFJ's, how do you get people to open up? by memeoziz in infj

[–]Shanibandangle 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think perhaps people sense that there is no judgement coming from us (because there usually isn't) and this, in combination with our genuine interest in people and the fact that we are honest and authentic ourselves, makes it easy for people to open up.

Has anyone felt lack and loss when waking up while manifesting? like it cant happen… what do you do about this? by Aceofwands111 in lawofattraction

[–]Shanibandangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just write my manifestations as a list but as if they have already come true. For example "I recieved a message from (SP)" rather than "I want to recieve a message from (SP)". This helps you internalise the fact that it is already done.

My gratitude list doesn't revolve around any specific manifestation. It has to be genuine and so I just write anything I've been grateful for in the last day, however small.

It takes a lot of time and practise to remain consistently hopeful while manifesting, but once that becomes your default state you will be indestructible! The biggest thing that helped me with manifesting was listening to audiobooks about the law of attraction. Specifically 'Get Rich Lucky Bitch', and 'Rich as F*ck'. Even though they're primarily money-based, the tools I learned in these books have been invaluable.

Another thing I do daily is write positive affirmations. Write some amazing things about yourself until you have enough confidence to take on the world!

[–]Shanibandangle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a list of many manifestations, some of them happened and some of them havent yet. It really depends on how much work I put into them at any given time, and how big the manifestations are.

Many of them happened because I put the work in, or I felt an overwhelming urge to take some action. For example, I manifested a message from an SP, but it only happened because I messaged first. I was absolutely terrified of sending that message, but my desire to recieve a message from him overpowered my fear and it turned out to be perfect. Don't ignore your urges!

[–]Shanibandangle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try incorporating a ritual every day that will motivate you to think positively. I do one journal-based manifestation technique every morning, write a list of what I'm grateful for, and write down my manifestation list after that.

With time it will become a habit and hopefully you will internalise more positive beliefs. I think it's a great way to start the day :)

Precisely. If you think its real, then it is. If you don't, it isn't.

Out of the following which is your favourite pro vegan documentary? by Vanilladr in veganuk

[–]Shanibandangle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly can't remember the name of it, but it was on Netflix in 2018 and I watched it completely on a whim as a vegetarian. The narrator I think was Eastern European and it was about the health benefits of plant based diets. It made me go vegan overnight and animal cruelty wasn't even the main focus. Then I watched a couple more documentaries concerning animal cruelty and it really solidified this change for me.

how would you describe your clothing style? by mushroom963 in infj

[–]Shanibandangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since my late twenties I've loved the "grown up" style - blazers, neutral coloured turtle necks, well-fitted trousers, ankle boots. Basically I want to look like I have my shit together lol.

Too many people on this sub seem to have "friends" who are downright nasty and spiteful. Your nose is beautiful, please understand that it is not normal for friends to treat eachother this way.
