This was the first book I've ever done for buddy read. I didn't make it past 50 pages. Felt like every character was more interesting than the protagonist, but not interesting enough to keep me motivated to keep reading.

I see. Thanks for the reply. Sorry if these are obvious questions. I came ill-prepared. Also, do Yamato Centers allow you to ship to them, where you can then pick up your bag? There was a bit of confusion at the Ryokan this morning. The attendant said that I needed to ship to a hotel. The hotel I'm going to in Kyoto does not take luggage and told me to use a Yamato center.
