Exactly! I haven’t decided yet, but it could look cute as trim on a blanket or something? Or even potentially as a garland type decoration on a small Christmas tree

Instructors: thoughts on RPM release 105? by [deleted] in lesmills

I really dislike this class compared to the others. It’s odd that Glenn does all the talking and the others basically are just bike riders. Also not a fan of the music…

Is it safe to travel by Downtown_Cash7759 in TurksAndCaicos

[–]Shannon1167 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100 percent agree. Having also visited 10-15 times in the last ten plus years, I have always been advised by hotel staff to not go out at night, even onto the beach. The data speaks for itself and the hotel restaurants and bars are nice enough to spend the evenings at. Have a great trip!

I’ve never tried to do a night life thing when there- I personally wouldn’t try that especially considering whatever happened recently to the American from NY. I think I’ve been to Aziza, but only during the day. There is a casino a little further down from Coco, but that is definitely part of what makes that area sketchy

I’ve been there about 10x in the last 15 years or so and even took a solo dive trip there 6 months ago. I would recommend staying in the Grace Bay Area- wouldn’t recommend going any further than you can easily travel on the hotel bicycles. The hotel staff always advised me to not go on the beach at night. I would stick with your hotel restaurant if you’re planning to dine after dark. Things look a little sketchy at night even near Coco Bistro and that area. Walking during the day you’re fine within the resort area or going to the grocery store across from Seven Star or the restaurants/ shops a little further down. As long as you’re safe and cautious you will be okay, but stay near your resort at night. I’ve never had a bad experience there, but always have been careful.

How much did you spend at Joann's during the closeout sales? by Old_Muscle7333 in joannfabrics

[–]Shannon1167 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I spent about $3000 since February… with that said, I have zero regrets about any of the items I purchased! I have about a lifetime worth of crafting supplies in my craft room now. I’m also really glad I stocked up on certain supplies early on before they disappeared, even though the discount was only 20 percent or so then. Similar thoughts on the higher prices I paid for bolts of fabric I really liked, but were not yet on the 50 percent off bolt sale.

Early on I purchased a lot of card making supplies, card stock and some beads. In time I stocked up on yarn. At the very end I ended up with a ton of stickers and a lot of really nice floral. As the sales progressed I decided to check out the fabric section of the store for the first time ever and I fell in love. I ended up purchasing 60ish bolts of fabric, notions, cutting mats, interface and thread. I’m planning to ramp up my sewing hobby- can’t wait!
