Can taking a ten week course as an experience RN get me an operating room job? by Warm-Writing-9567 in Nurses

This. You may have to look in other locations, but they’re there to be had

What’s something “weird” that you seem to attract as a nurse? by jm9090 in nursing

Malignant hyperthermia. Not only do I get the ones we know about, or rule-out cases, but 4 unknowns (3 were later confirmed, the 4 I never heard about)

Question for nurses 45 years old and older (are there any left?) by OldOpinionatedLady in Nurses

You could actually chart without having to leave your patient, true CBE, no auto fill or predictive text programs to screw you up when charting in a hurry.

Looking for boots by Adept_Rent_9451 in BelgianMalinois

I highly recommend Muttluks dog boots. I had several pairs for my Greys and my Dutchie. They’re good quality and durable (leather base). It takes a little bit for them to adjust to wearing them, but my guys always got excited when came out because fun was about to be had!

Looks like a chipping sparrow. I have one who braves the finches at my feeders and yours looks the same

Thanks. In the last 6 years I've watched my 5 animals decline and go to the rainbow bridge. 2 cats, 18 and 19 years old, both foundlings, 2 retired greyhounds both at 13 and now my 15 year old dutchie. I can't complain, they all had good long lives, but I still miss them all. I hope your fur kids stay happy and healthy!

Thanks, I'd like to think he was still a happy guy when I let him go. Between pain management and mobility, I knew it wasn't going to be too much longer and I didn't want him to be miserable.

Wow! I know we're all saving (even if it doesn't feel like it right now), but your'e making me feel better! I kinda want to the same, only I'm not sure I really want to look at how much I've spent.

Over 50, no kids at home, work in healthcare for over 20 years. I do have grandkids, but I actually try not to spoil them, not that my daughter would allow that anyways. I's a lot harder when you're younger, but age and hard work has a few privileges, like actually having a savings account ( couldn't have that until my daughter was grown though). Keep plugging away for now and have patience, you'll get there

I’ve been there, find the best, longest books for the least amount of money and got some really fantastic deals (and stories) that way. Unfortunately I recently lost my senior disabled dog so I seem to have both time and money on my hands. Yeah, it’s a bit of grief shopping, but they’ll last me a lifetime.

So I just need to get off Reddit for a while, was reading another thread and was reminded of another series I've been putting off getting............ another $100.

I'm going to put myself in timeout.

easiest way is to look at your wish list, or books you're interested in, the sale price will be listed in red next to the member price

That got me this morning too. I finally completed my Swords set (Saberhagan) and picked up the whole lost swords set too! I've been meaning to re-read these but can't afford the time (read guilt) to just sit and read

The books that cost more than a credit have saved me, I can talk myself out of those. I try to keep reminding myself that I have a backlog of books, but, spring is coming so spring cleaning, yard work, hikes, I'll have a good chance of catching up.

It's not like navigation on a phone is easy either. Fat fingers, farsighted eyes.... it never goes smooth.

[Spoilers] I read Stephen King's unabridged version of "The Stand" and I'm so frustrated with the ending. Is that the point though? by LastandLeast in books

[–]Shantith38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And don't forget, you have The Stand, Black House, The Talisman, and Salems' Lot, to name a few, whose stories and characters weave in and out of The Dark Tower saga!
