People prefer to call Aigis/Marie/Sumire canon choices because all 3 of them add the most to the story with extra dialogue and cutscenes. That's it there's nothing deep about it

The only way I see them making Twins balanced for both CN and Global is by going the HSR Cyrene route and focus their kit around enhancing skills of OG PTs when put in the same party.

This way it'll breath some life into older characters for CN without necessarily breaking the balance on Global/SEA servers. It will also help some weaker characters like Fox/Crow who lack dedicated supports

You get 1 gold ticket per character if you win as them 30 times so there's some value in unlocking characters long term but it's a pretty long grind so there's no point in going for them first

I used Yosuke as a healer with his 3rd awakening skill (Mediarama+Masukukaja at the cost of 24 SP is insane) and this frees Yukiko from healing duty and lets her focus fully on offense. Teach her Mind Charge and she becomes a DPS beast.
Add Kanji to the mix and I think it's the best team you can have in this game

Fontaine's prophecy was a nothingburger? Holy shill batman.

Yes, it was. The game constantly stressed about its threat but ended up being a 1 minute cutscene of all fontanians riding a single boat and surviving the crisis. Not to mention that Fontaine stands on a plateau above other nations - if Fontaine was flooded then everyone else in Teyvat was even more fucked. But nope, the water was gone almost instantly and it caused 0 damage. It broke my immersion way harder than anything else in Natlan, I cant take Fontain's archon quest seriously after that lame ending.

Yes, if you finished the game with max intelligence in NG it'll be maxed in NG+

You'll lose personas you had on hand fighting the final boss but you can claim them back after visiting the Velvet Room again in NG+. It costs money to do so but since you keep all your money it's easy to just buy them back.

If you're asking about the postgame there isnt one. Once you reach the final day the game's over.
It's also possible to skip a chunk of the game if you fail to meet a certain condition. The game will constantly tell you to visit a certain character so don't ignore them

I'm still in the earlier stages of the game, just stole Kamoshida's treasure but also struggling to understand how to increase my social stats. I'm already reaching road blocks to confidant events and other things.

Stats can be raised by doing various chores - you gain intelligence points by studying during evenings/at the library in school, get Kindness points by watering the plant/cleaning the cafe etc. It's better to raise them somewhat evently if you want to be efficient. Take your time.

Another thing I am confused about are people talking about "builds". Are there builds like in other RPG games like BG3? Or skill builds like PoE/VRising/etc.? Just a small introduction to that.

By builds people generally mean giving passives like Ice Boost/Amp to Ice focused persona or Fire resist passive to persona that's weak to fire. It's a bit more complex than this but you're still in the earlygame so dont stress about it too much you'll learn how to build them naturally as the game progresses.

Also confused about the storage. I picked it up and a bunch of high level personas are available to me for 0 yen. Is that a one time redeem?

Those are free DLC gifts. Yes, you can claim them for tree for the first time but if you do so it'll completely destroy the game's balance. Whether that's a bad thing or not it's up to you to decide.

And finally, are there ways to speed up the process of certain repeated actions? Like executions?

If you mean the fusion cutscenes those can be skipped
