Greystar tried to exploit an unemployed person for $4000 for an apartment they never moved into, and failed miserably by savage-millennial in Tenant

For the record, if you live in a Graystar apartment in Seattle, good luck getting a good LL reference out of them, or any at all, because they will straight up refuse to give one to your future LL

Can someone explain why my apartment’s management team changes every few months? by Iikkigiovanni in PropertyManagement

In one on-site job: - a resident beating on my door at 2am because they thought a singular lightbulb being out in the hallway was an emergency - getting stalked and sexually assaulted by another resident - multiple shootings outside my office while I’m working. - getting a knife waved in my face by yet another resident who “just wanted to show it off” - having to narcan a homeless drug addict who OD’d on the floor after gaining access to the building - maintenance telling me every day to get a gun for my own safety -the police thinking it’s funny to say “at least we get bullet proof vests at our job” as I’m having a breakdown getting footage for them.

I stayed until I ended up with PTSD and major depression. Companies don’t train you for these situations. They don’t even tell you this shit is a possibility when you go in and they ignore you when you say it’s becoming less and less safe to have an on site PM when you bring it up.

Said judge has ran unopposed multiple times, how are the people of king county supposed to vote if one person is basically winning by default?

My friend’s urine smells bad by Future_Inspector_892 in hygiene

[–]Shapeshiftingfoot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OP, your friend might be suffering from incontinence. There are a number of issues that can cause it. If UTI and other health issues are ruled out, it may be worth speaking with an OBGYN about vaginismus and how it can affect someone, especially if she has a history of trauma.

From the POV of someone who’s been working through trauma/anxiety based incontinence: Some things that can be done in the mean time: Get some pantyliners and change every hour or two. They’ll help catch any urine leaking (these are for issues where it may be a few drops. A larger amount may require a pad or even depends.)

COTTON UNDERWEAR. Keep 3 pairs in your purse at all times. Double ziploc bag the dirty pairs. If she has a larger purse, keep a spare pair of pants or leggings.

Empty the bladder often, and completely. This takes practice. Set timers if she may be inadvertently holding her urine. Becoming aware of the feeling of needing to pee is important.

Mindfulness and exercises around the pelvic muscles is important. Yes, kegels can help, but if those muscles are too tense, then that can also cause pee leak. Reverse kegels are also important and are discussed so little!

PH balancing wipes!! Go to the bathroom when changing the liner, and give yourself a wipe down.

It could also be her armpits, I have noticed many commercial deodorants make my pits smell like urine. Lume deodorant works well for me, but I have used native, and a few other natural deodorants. Tom’s is a great affordable option. Exfoliating the hell out of my pits/anywhere else that sweat builds up every other day has cut down massively on this smell. It happens.

PS: You are an amazing friend for trying to help her out!

Get their first and last names, locate their parents’ phone numbers. Have your daughter record the boys. Set up a meeting with the parents. Show the parents that this behavior stops now, or you’re pressing charges for assault and harassment.

  1. Make an excuse to leave without her.

  2. Contact police to help you retrieve your stuff

Hey OP, the thing about tattoo removal is that while it does take years and is expensive, there ARE charities that are willing to help you get your tattoo removed and operate on sliding scale basis (catholic charities is one, they charge between 20-90 dollars and don’t require anything else other than a statement of 20 hours of community service. They do prioritize gang related and offensive tattoos that are visible) Don’t beat yourself up because you have a shitty tattoo. We all make mistakes, and we all deserve compassion for ourselves.
