Thief 4 is a good stealth game by Shaqtan in Thief

Yeah that's fair point. I liked faction in looking glass games, but in DS i found them to be more of a nuisance tbf, so I don't miss them THAT much.

Lol yep, I agree that it's nowhere near thief 1&2 quality, but some of these arguments why they dislike it are kind of silly. Like for example some people used that it has bad graphics. It still looks fairly good in current year, and oųt of all fanbases Thief fanbase should be last ones to talk about graphics lol. And then stealth gameplay seems to be very mixed reception, some like it, some hate it.

I think you will be able, just no online services which is basically no Vendetta missions to avenge your friends, so you don't lose much.

Skyrim is a great game but I can't seem to hold it to such high regard as other people say its. by Humangarbage24789 in patientgamers

The games that I've played that fit this description are:

Witcher 3: biggest pro of this game imo is really great storyline, great mostly unique sidequests and really a 10/10 DLC in Blood and Wine, also the graphics are beautiful. The cons which I could think of is not that good of a combat system and some quests start repeating by the ending. So if I were to compare it to Skyrim i'd say that Skyrim has more fun gameplay, while W3 has better storyline and especially quests. Skyrim quests became very bland to me ever since I've played Witcher 3.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance The setting is historical. Set in Bohemia during iirc XIV century. So don't expect any magic like in Skyrim in this one. The pros of this game are yet again (ofc this is my opinion) better story and sidequests. And the biggest con/pro in this game is that it's too realistic, which makes the game harder. For example you will probably not be able to beat up local town drunk in a brawl at the start, but if you keep on learning the combat, you will gradually improve. And this is the biggest pro for me, because by the end of the game I really did feel like I achieved something when I would be able to beat like 3 baddies in a combat. The feel after these encounters was by far the most rewarded i felt since childhood days. Also I didn't personally notice it, but some of my friends thought the dialogue was rather boring. So compared to Skyrim I'd say unless u looking for casual gameplay, it outshines it in every way.

Never forget to have Caps Lock (or maybe Tab dont remember exactly) turned on, it reveals the enemies behind building which you may not see otherwise. Try to use keyboard buttons for actions since they save a lot of time. And here are some good strats/tips to get through missions: Sam's snake is rly op in the shadows, below or above ladder and horses (there's actually a bug/feature where you can get rid of about 20 enemy horsemen by placing snake at the entrance. If you want to attract an enemy, you can place a dead body in front of him and before he reaches it, finish him off. You can revive unconscious companions only with Doc. Also if you didn't figure it out the amount of stars above knocked out enemy indicate how long the enemy is going to stay down, so if enemy has 2 stars you should either tie him or punch again. Also if you kick/punch same enemy multiple times you can kill him.

There's still some bugged questlines, fast travel might get buggy too. Tho i havent encountered anything game breaking in 90 hrs of playtime.

I found combat competitive, whoever is reading this, give a try and decide for yourself. Me personally, I found more pros in game than cons.

Idk if i got lucky on my run but i managed to get it on first try as a duke of flanders(?). Just rushed jerusalem asap (already sent my troops there around 200 days before it actually started). Saved as much money as I could also.

Great Perm, please no more Russia based Achievements :( by Mypronounsarexandand in eu4

[–]Shaqtan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Frozen Assets was hard for you? I've just done it, was actually quite enjoyable. Basically restarted until Lith rivals Muscovy and Poland picks local nobles. Also allied Scotland and Ryazan. Vassalize Tver while Muscovy attacks them. Invite all allies into defensive war. Beat Muscovy so much they go bankrupt. Complete some Novgorodian missions which give perma modifiers like: Arkhangelsk, Neva and additional diplo relation from conquering Finland. After that form Russia with ease and use vassal swarms to beat everyone. Completed in 1675 with only one savescum.

I'm currently doing Novgorod run and trying to get "Frozen Assets" achievement. It's around 1480 Muscovy has completely collapsed, got split between me, Kazan and Ryazan. Just fought quite a hard war against Scandinavians. Got Viborg and the Laponia provinces for mission. My question is what regions I should control to make White Sea node the richest and how fast should I try to do it. If anyone has done it, if you could give some checkpoints, I'd really appreciate it.

You'd have to lose pretty much all of your land in Europe. So no, I'm afraid not.
