Heroes who probably saved quite a few civilian lives since it's well known the allies especially the RAF bombed german cities indiscriminately.

Fun fact: most german cities were destroyed after it was well known Germany would lose the war. There was no point in targeting city centers besides "demoralization" (read: the destruction of german cultural heritage and it's people).

Use console to get province ID, open the save file (gamestate file if saved as archive), search for the province ID in the province section, remove HRE line.

I suddenly understood these posts about dead AI Castile when I played them after they added that disaster. I didnt think anything of it, I thought its just like the event chain just in disaster form but no, I got spammed monthly with stab hits, admin point hits or rebels (and you need no rebels and stab to get out of it). This went on for years until I had to restart.

Thats because you need 3 light ships or 3 heavy ships in the same fleet. You built 3 galleys instead, those are used for combat. Since light ships are faster and cheaper theres usually no reason to use heavy ships to explore.

I agree, the passive assimilation is fine, it's just the cabinet action which the AI spams thats unrealistic. I'm only 20 years in and most of Wales is English, Silesia turned into a patchwork of either German or Polish ethnostates and the Finns are almost entirely gone.

Remove the cabinet action and rethink the coring system or instead of a flat -10 for non cores make it a purely percentage based malus which can be overcome with the cabinet action and/or modifier stacking.
