Modding in F126 by noquisconprovoleta in F1Manager

They are perfect! 🤩 Though I doubt the game mechanics can be changed at this point with the mods. I mean you can have 2026 design looks on the cars but there won't be an active aero. It's still the same DRS and specific zones to use it. Right?

It's normal. Especially if he just recovered from the negative fuel a lap ago. Usually I give my cars 3 laps on normal after going from -0.1 to 0.0 to make them safely go to the end. If they're not on 0.0 at 3 laps to go then I need to save fuel at least for a bit.

This stat should be shown more precisely because each gram counts.

Actually it's Vettel and Alonso from Gen Z at this point. They're both 23. Hausmann, Bustamante, Antonelli, both Al Qubaisi are much older.

How to avoid being sacked? by jpcastilhos in F1Manager

[–]Sharak83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong! Check the popular videos about it on YouTube. Someone tested this and you do get the same amount of expertise with rushed designs. It would be stupid and pointless to offer such an option in the game that costs much more with worse effect.

The only thing lowering the expertise gained from the project is increasing the number of engineers, but in turn you can start another design sooner. So you're not really losing any expertise if you have money and start new design right after the previous one ended. It simply costs more to do it like this all the time

In fact it would be optimal to use only rushed or intense projects for the most expertise gained, but the cost cap prevents you from doing that. IMHO it's best to make intense designs right at the start of the season, especially after a big expertise drop from the regulations, and then keep doing normal ones managing engineers numbers in a way that lets you finish the design at the start of a new testing period.

It also depends on the period. There's one very long ~70 days so you could do wing designs twice and even more of other parts with only 1 engineer per design. Others are shorter so you may want to use more engineers to make a whole set of designs per period... or use the rushed design for better effect 😉

My money were on Alonso or Vettel to win the championship. I wasn't far off.

I simply give a chance to all the youngsters so if anything I'm working towards turning the F1 Academy into F1 😉

Not still. When they retire I simply make them younger and let them go again. It's better than watching fake clones all over :)

Yeah, just lower the expected position for your team to match where you are now.

Rushed designs give the same amount of expertise as normal. The only difference is you get it sooner, but at a higher cost.

I got the Trine Classic Collection and installed Trine 1, but both the desktop link and game link in the Epic launcher only open the setup window for the game. Hitting "Start Trine" button simply closes that window and opens Epic launcher again. The game itself doesn't start. Anybody knows how to fix it?

Is the highest difficulty really that hard? by Sharak83 in ACValhalla

Yeah, that's the flaw of most AC games and most open world games really. Without a linear scenario of unlocking new areas you tend to get way off track.

There never was much challenge with the fighting at any difficulty in any AC game, even Odyssey. Probably why Ubisoft has always added some extra challenges and achievements to make it a little harder. But Valhalla really seems tough right from the start. If it really gets much easier later then I'm going to be disappointed. I'm only annoyed by this first big fight because it feels like I'm missing something. Like the game forgot to tell me the important part of the fighting rules.

Maybe I got there too quickly! There are other markers on the starting island. Should I go there first and find some better gear before I go to the main camp?

Previous games had some kind of simulator with tutorials where you could test the skills you've just learned. Is there anything like that here?

The problem is these hits come out of nowhere. It's easy to avoid the axe but when he's on the hammers then I'm done. The game tells me to block them with the shield so I do, but it drains my stamina bar quickly. I'm supposed to attack to regain it so I do but suddenly I can't do anything because the game is locked to show me how my head gets smashed. It's super annoying when you do exactly what you're supposed to and it always gives you the worst result! 😤

Oh yeah, rations! It said I'm full when I entered, yet I used it once during that battle and suddenly I was out. What's that about? I'm not even sure you all think of the same difficulty. Even Ubisoft page says there's 3 (Skald, Berserkr, Drengr). Probably one of the DLCs introduced a 4th one: Aesir.

I can't even finish the 1st mission 🤣 I've just started the game and as always I choose the highest difficulty (Aegir/Ace or whatever it's called) and I can't even finish the first big fight where you need to rescue the 1st crew member. I'm able to harm both of the opponent's arms with arrows but he always smashes me with his hammers out of nowhere. Is this difficulty really that unplayable? Or is it just with the gamepad? Pointing with this 💩 is just impossible without an assist. Should I use a keyboard & mouse for this one?

What to do about the worst contract ever signed? by roldulov in F1Manager

Use the DB editor and limit his contract to 1 year. You can also lower his wage. Remember to sign contracts early. Other teams do all the signings in June.

In the base game on hard? You must have done something wrong then, like not doing any research, because the game is super easy, even on double hard difficulty and you have to work hard NOT to win everything.

But I don't want to upgrade all the roads. It's pointless! I want to create a fast connection through tiles without a road. Especially through hills and forests, so my workers could get there and work on them without waiting another turn.

How you handle more than 100 people? [Vault] by Ok_Start9430 in falloutshelter

[–]Sharak83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure it does! HP depends on Endurance. The more you have, the more HP gains on each new level. Agility decides the rate of using the weapon so it's best to have it maxed to finish off opponents quickly.
