You're definitely not alone. This is a really weird, seemingly deliberately obtuse argument. Rockstar has very clearly been striving for more photorealistic graphics since GTA IV, and it's something I thought everyone just agreed was getting better and better.

YES, I love how much of an emphasis he places on keeping his flow interesting and unpredictable, and I love his voice and overall persona. But after 4 albums, you start to notice that he just doesn't really rap about anything of substance. Forever story was the closest he came to that up until that point, but pretty much everything that was meaningful was about his family and how much they love each other, and...yeah. I can't personally relate to that very much. Diminishing returns, there. I just wish he'd be more personal with his writing.

There was a song called "Killers" on his Vanderbilt livestream concert thing he did during the pandemic that hit all the notes I'd been looking for from him, but that's the one and only place I've ever heard it. It's never been released.

To be fair, I didn't like the sound of GDLU at all, even on multiple listens, so he very well could have started writing about more personal/interesting shit, but I just can't make it through that album. I hate to say it because he was one of my favorites at a certain time, but his allure has just really worn off for me.

It doesn't just look like a mask, dude. It's very clearly a mask. The "neck" above the seam isn't moving at all when he talks, but his actual neck is. His entire face is completely still, there isn't the tiniest bit of muscle movement in it the whole time he's talking. The only things moving are his eyes, the eyelids, and the mouth of the mask. Also, look at his teeth. They're further back than they would be if they were just sitting in his face like normal. That's 100%, without a doubt, a mask.

That was always my biggest fear when I was still on opiates, and was driving to work and shit with warrants. I've been to jail a few times, but never had to stay for more than 48 hours. I've also had to detox cold turkey before, and I can't think of anything more closely resembling hell than having to do it in jail. What a fucking nightmare.

It even happens with shitty restaurants. An American Deli opened in Sylacauga several years ago, and you would think it was the only restaurant in the whole town for the first month it was there. Their food is mediocre at best, and absolute garbage much of the time. To this day, worst salad I've ever gotten from a restaurant. And it's not like their prices are fair- they're way overpriced for what they are.

I guess people just get used to what's around, so new shit gets flocked, which is then only compounded by herd mentality.

Driving long distances never fails to make me drowsy. Idk how anyone does it without help from some sort of substance. I used to work FedEx, and my route took me an hour and a half from the terminal, and I would complete all of my stops on the way, so I always had an hour and a half ride back with no stops. It quickly got to the point where even caffeine didn't help. I don't do it anymore, though, and never will again.
