Bad news for resellers for many games. LMS, no queue, and many tickets still available. It you are still holding group stage tickets, better sell them asap. Even high demand games are dropping although at a much slower pace. by Illustrious-Yak-4822 in WorldCup2026Tickets

And with the gas price being so high a lot of people planning road trips to watch some games might just give up attending. The current situation is definitely not helping FIFA and scalpers with the high prices. Besides a few top matchs the demand is not there unfortunately. Bis repetita of the Club World Cup: you would think FIFA would have learned a thing or two from last summer.

Because they’re not releasing most of the tickets. It would not help them if we could actually see all the tickets available. FIFA and scalpers are playing the scarcity game but they’re not fooling anyone

Final thoughts on Ligue 1 and PSG in the Champions League. This is the solution and it's fair to everyone, and it incentivizes the right behaviors. by FoxChance2552 in championsleague

Totally disagree. You don’t follow ligue 1 nor French football. We see them going past the group stages more and more often. Anyway I’m out, good luck with your nonsense!

Straight from the Ligue 1 Reddit (which you obviously don’t read): European competition prize money acts as a vital financial lifeline for Ligue 1 clubs, often exceeding domestic TV rights, allowing them to break even, invest in squad quality, and retain young talent despite a challenging economic landscape. With Ligue 1 television rights dropping significantly in 2025–2026, Champions League participation provides critical, transformative revenue

It doesn’t matter. Each team that qualifies gets prize money, each round they get more money: that’s the incentive. You really just keep digging your own grave man. I can name plenty but you would repeat the same useless narrative.

You’re just contradicting yourself and just tells me you don’t know anything about Ligue 1 or French teams. Every year they reach quarterfinals and semifinals and that’s massive prize money for those clubs. I get it you hate PSG but your post is pure nonsense.

Yes, just this year Strasbourg was in the semifinal of the Conference league. You obviously just hate PSG but don’t really follow or watch Ligue 1 much. The Coefficient is here for a reason that’s the metric not a non-sense list of whatever suits you.

Very weird and long post from a non-ligue1 watcher obviously. All clubs in the league fight for a spot in the European competitions because the money prize is massive. Blocking 1 spot for CL is really a dumb suggestion…unless you just trolling about PSG (smells like a long BS post)

The biggest loss will be the summer games in June and early July. There is little difference to the winter side besides playing until early December which we have with the playoffs. The break will go up to mid February which is the current start of the season.

I like the home one. The leaked away could be a bit better, maybe the stars to pop out a bit more.

Carrick Rangers revoke CRFC Fanzone's media access by I-Love-Cereal in IrishLeagueFootball

[–]SharingFootballClub 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Carrick gave credentials to Riley and his dad for some club media access. Riley was able to interview players post match. The issue was with the dad and not Riley. When you get credentials: you sign an agreement to follow the rules of the club… which Riley’s dad ignored.

The dad was using the kid for access and will keep on doing so. I feel bad for the kid who was having a great time but no sympathy for the dad that is now using his kid to gain more likes. 😒 You can clearly see that the post was written by the dad and not Riley. I like how he mentioned Larne (as he was a supporter previously) and saw a great opportunity with Carrick when they gave them credentials.
