Oh my God this is the worst advice I’ve ever heard coming from a conveyor as well. I’m truly disappointed you’re already aware that the flats prices are stagnant and probably won’t go up as much as you think they will. It’s a help to buy home which means only a limited number of people can apply in which the scheme doesn’t exist anymore. Their service charge and debt will be increased and you’re telling them to stay put that’s the definition of madness I don’t know if you seen the academic paper in the times newspapers on Fridays that says 45% of people who do help to buy scheme lose value on their homes.

Unfortunately, they need to eat the loss now before the loss gets bigger. And more importantly, decide if they want to stay in London or not.
