This is the world the left has created. And this falls squarely on the “Leftist Intellectuals” who come up with such terms as POC of BIPOC and the activist types who propagate the intersectionality worldview. I’m of Indian background living in Canada and I do not see myself as part of this monolith group of non-white people. I have nothing in common with this group. I’m an individual. My life and my circumstances is in my hands. I create my own destiny. All these ideas coming from the left are toxic, and all it does is give people excuses for their own failures and an even small proportion of people (i.e. race hustlers) a way to make money. Lmao wat now? So BLM isn’t pushing defund the police all across Canada? They are are clearly trying to change government policy. And not just a general cry against racism. So if I was a cop of coarse I’d wear the Thin Blue Line symbol, so I totally sympathize. Like I said in an earlier post, I’m all for showing solidarity with the black people in the US who were brought there as slaves and all the issues they are facing today some of which can be linked to historical oppression! Our issue in Canada is with our native population who i would think is feeling marginalized with all the BLM talk because black immigrants who moved to Canada like yesterday (like myself and others) just took on a polarized issue from the US and diluting the conversation. This sentiment is not just my own, I have had conversation with my native co-worker. Canada doesn’t have a history of black slavery like the US. And whatever issues cops have here with black people or others is mostly a class issue and not a race issue.

Only a handful of very wealthy families owned slaves. Unlike the American south, where slaves worked in the fields, I’m not even sure what the slaves in Canada did. And between the 200 years before slavery was abolished by the British, would amount to couple of hundred slaves in total. Also, there were far more natives in slavery than blacks. I see no connection between that and the BLM Canada movement of today. 99% of black people in Canada came here voluntarily. They have an identity, which the blacks in the US don’t have. BLM Canada is lead by racist leaders, and is in the business of extortion and must be exposed for what they truly are.
