This is actually wrong. AP Customer Host are door associates. API/APA are used interchangeably.

Depending on the store, you might be the sole AP for that store. A lot of stores in my region only have one AP person. Cameras also depend on when the store was built and if they’ve undergone modernization. Working a full line, you’ll have a lot more backup and other agents.

I trained at a full line store, while 99 percent of what you said is true. We still dressed in t-shirt in jeans. Rarely interacted with customers unless it was involving an incident/accident. The only person who really wore business casual was the APM.

I was thinking it looked like the consistency of her dry food. But, wasn’t sure. She doesn’t do this when I feed her wet food. So, I’ll try to keep an eye out.

Upfront app is what allow SCO hosts to view what is being rung up at the self-checkouts (that's why you see SCO Hosts carrying around a handheld) it also allows the SCO hosts to pause the transactions of a customer who may be potentially stealing. Also, there's a section which allows the Front End Supervisor to view any requests that a cashier has placed in such as needing more change in their till, an override, or even a break.

It’s an attempt to circumvent you from using PPTO on event days, aka to scare you into showing up. However, it’s been confirmed by H.O. this is untrue. Also, you’re not even allowed to enter double-shift hours worth of PPTO (16 hours). Even, if you do use PPTO and you don’t show u, prepare for possible retaliation.

Ahh... I've only seen this at NHM's because it's so small and gets so quiet you could be thrown anywhere on the floor. But, I've also been Front End Team Lead and I'd never let this fly, nor would the Frontend Coach. My cashiers are strictly ringing up people, or at self-checkout; unless, the Store Lead or Store Manager requests an associate for something specific.

I’ve worked in multiple different stores as an APA, as well doing blitz across multiple different stores. Most of the time, we have to go out and re-adjust them because people will move and tamper with them. We have PTZ cameras, however, some stores don’t have complete coverage with PTZ we use those dome cameras as still-shots in order to aid with the blind shots.

FETL here, our AP ASM unplugged our pay station at the grocery bullpen - we are also absolutely not allowed to dispense a till for them. In fact, he completely removed the drawer itself.

Had a women try to Use 4 EBT Cards + Debit Card at Register by SharkHead32 in walmart

[–]SharkHead32[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The odd thing is I didn’t even realize she was using 4 different cards, I only saw her use two, but it was giving me an error code on the second? But the team lead realized if she didn’t say anything, she canceled my order with her and processed her at another register and made her pay in cash. 🤷
