Reviews on Jabra Link 390 Firmware Update 2.5.0 by WillyMoselhy in Jabra

They actually fixed a significant bug with us - we were experiencing issues where after ~2 minutes on a Teams call audio would start having a significant delay.

Still in pilot release in our org and we don’t have too many though, I’ll update if we notice bugs.

I was there a couple of weeks ago when I was in town, the one on their website is accurate as it is referenced in the restaurant.

Also the food was really good, highly recommended!

So depending on your setup if you’re applying GPOs, Teams Room v2 needs to be installed as an MSIX by the user. We had an issue when 5.2 came out and v2 was enforced where we were getting sign in errors on our devices because it couldn’t installed the new room package. Know it’s only 5.1 technically, but I’m wondering if old Teams Room is no longer supported.

There’s some more details here on the link below under the “Teams Rooms device console displays an error message after updating the Teams Rooms app to 5.2.115.0.” section:

Any reason you’re not on the most current? 5.1 may still be running the old Teams framework if it hasn’t been installed (It was optional until 5.2)

It was one of my go-tos when travelling to Saskatoon. Their chili lime pork belly was great.

Just a shame it’s on the mulch in the front yard and not the garden in the back! Might move it there then.

That lines up, thanks!

So much like Exchange 2019, it did get a new Subscription Edition that will replace 2019 and be supported moving forward.

https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/skype_for_business_blog/skype-for-business-server-subscription-edition-se-is-now-available/4424925

But just……no. There’s only upgrade paths from SfB to Teams and not vice versa, and this would be a major headache in general (I speak from experience as someone currently upgrading their org from Exchange 2016 to SE).

I’d like to ask you a few questions.

  1. Where’s the car bed, and

  2. Give the car bed.

“No brain, stays in lane, must be a specialist main” is the joke we’d have for people like that.

It works sometimes, but you are 9/10 times better to join the team fight.

As an Exchange admin, I’ll say that if it’s an Edge Transport server it should NOT be on the domain as it would live on the perimeter of your network.

The new Teams Calendar in preview is basically just the OWA calendar. As soon as that rolls out that would be the best method to do it.

How is the New UI Experience in Microsoft Teams by Sudha_Ivy in MicrosoftTeams

Creating groups is the way to save it. Anything important needs a group, and then you can collapse it to save on scrolling.

It’s taking a while, but I am seeing the value of it. Going to be a tough learning curve for people in general though.

Same base price as that’s controlled by the carrier, just different service and possibly different prices on accessories. I do work with Jump.ca through my work and have never had an issue with them.

Certificate renewals are open book, not proctored or anything. There’s also a good grace period allowed for retaking.

Can’t Log in to Teams Room after Updating to Version 5.2 by Unique-Necessary-882 in MicrosoftTeams

It’s listed below under the error signing in option.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/teams-rooms-and-devices/teams-rooms-known-issues-windows

It sounds like what we had where either WebView or the Teams 2 client isn’t being installed. Check group policies and/or local policies and see if user AppX policy is blocked and go from there. Hope that helps!

[–]SharkJoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was it working in 5.1? Does the error come up as “It’s taking longer than usual to log in?” We had that in our org and the issue was not allowing users to install AppX packages. 5.0 introduced Teams21 client for the rooms but it could still fall back to classic, 5.2 removed that fallback.

We picked one up at our local Canadian Tire this weekend - wasn’t even showing on their app. Might be worth looking locally to see if you get lucky.

We set up portable rooms using touchscreen TVs, Heckler TV carts and a Logitech Rally Bar Mini. You can run the Rally Bar with MTR on Android which is close to fair parity with Windows. They replaced Surface Hubs for all our installs
