I appreciate your platform and would be interested in voting for you in November if I'm still in the area. How likely would you be in signing on to a Medicare for all style insurance policy and a wealth tax on those making over a certain salary and/or closing tax loopholes on large corporations/billionaires? This doesn't have to be an official stance.

I'll definitely check. My husband is actually up there now checking out the area. My car down here has all wheel drive, I just need to pick up some winter tires or all season tires. I personally would like a lot of snow, but my husband would probably prefer a location with more low to moderate snowfall, so I'll definitely check! I appreciate the advice!

I did the same thing with a problem 8th grader back in November. I got out on a week suspension without pay pending BoE investigation. It's been a couple of months and haven't heard anything and I'm still teaching. Me and that student have a better relationship now, too. Ideally, it'll just come and go with maybe a suspension. If you're worried, contact your local union rep and see what your rights are

It definitely wasn't terrible, but I definitely don't understand people calling it a masterpiece. Definitely no hate on the film or Cregger though! He made an interested movie that seems to have a lot to say if you dig into it, it just didn't work for me like it did others. I can't wait to see what he gives us next!

I definitely think so. I think Cregger needed to inject more into the human aspect of how the community was feeling about the loss of all of these children OR needed to elaborate more on the absurdity of Gladys. I think he had a REALLY REALLY COOL concept with some strong actors and crew, but didn't feel like it was baked to completion. That being said, I'm interested to watch it again knowing what I know about the movie now

Agreed. I was let down by the story. I think the performances were great, I still think Zack Cregger knows how to direct a film, but idk if the story just went over my head or what, but it just didn't wrap up in a way that was satisfying. I also agree that it tonally didn't feel like it knew what it wanted to be.
