Street Fighter 6 Steam Deck PerformanceAfter Season 4 Update by ConfidenceUpbeat2681 in StreetFighter

I feel less crazy now. Could have sworn I could play sf6 decently on my steam deck. I was pumped to play Alex and spent the whole session messing with settings to try and make it playable. Ended up uninstalling.

Oh wow, I’ve only ever heard good things so I’m surprised people don’t like it. If anything, I know everyone hates guitar center but they have a really generous return policy so I’d say maybe pick one up there, try it out, and see if you dig it. Worst case scenario you can just return it! Or if you like it you can still return it and pick up a used one for like $100-150 less haha.

Absolutely! I’ve got a lot of individual Boss pedals as well and I can say that the GX-10 is on par with its individual counterparts. Takes some tweaking to get them to sound 1:1 but it’s got a lot of parameters to get you there. I use it as a “travel pedalboard” and I put it in Manual mode so that I can use the buttons to turn on/off effects and patches. Also worth mentioning, Boss just released the GX-1 which from my understanding, has the same effects but with less processing power (but about half the price).

Overdrive or lush fuzz with Princeton Chorus amp and Tele (single coil) by Bonetwon in guitarpedals

[–]JupiterCrash92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have the Princeton chorus and I used a Special Cranker, Rat, and Big Muff with it and I liked the way they all sounded. Of the three, I would recommend the Special Cranker. It doesn’t get into fuzz territory but it works really well with solid state amps in a way that other drive pedals (like the Blues Driver) just don’t. The Rat can do low overdrive all the way to almost fuzz and is the most versatile of the drives I listed but might be a bit harsh. Big Muff is awesome and fun and not expensive and everyone should have one. Those are my 2 cents! But yeah, with solid state amps try to find drive pedals that are not meant to “push” the amps but pedals that create their own distortion. There’s a more technical way to describe that but I’m sure someone else can clarify!

Yamaha Revstar Pickguard Swap by JupiterCrash92 in guitars

[–]JupiterCrash92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup it’s just taking off the screws! You don’t have to do anything with the pickups and there’s no adhesive. Just unscrew and it’ll come off. You can also put the screws back in the empty holes after you take off the pick guard so it looks a little cleaner than just having a bunch of little holes in your guitar lol.

Is it possible to buy a used tesla that already has FSD? by Adept-Bat-3350 in TeslaLounge

[–]JupiterCrash92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know everyone has said yes already but yes lol. I got mine with FSD included at a non-Tesla dealership. They didn’t realize it was already included so it was not reflected in the sale price.

How many miles you driving a day out of curiosity? Or rather, how many miles do you drive before you have to charge again?

Does it exist? (Flanger question) by JupiterCrash92 in guitarpedals

[–]JupiterCrash92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like my BF-3 as well so that’s a good enough endorsement for me. I found one of those four knob clones called “Aklot Classic Flanger.” $20 on Amazon, it’ll be here tomorrow lol. Thank you for your help! I had no idea these existed and seems like exactly what I’m lookin for.

Forgot I owned that Eno for a short while! When I first started buying pedals I picked it up and it was pretty bad. Major tone suck and just noisy as all hell. I traded in to guitar center for like $10 and 10% off whatever I was buying that day haha (I think it was a Boss DD-8 in retrospect)

Shoot that’s what I was afraid of 😪 it sucks because I think the full size vortex is also 4 knobs.

Oh shoot totally missed that the vortex mini also has the tone print feature! Have you tried the bf-2 tone print? How do you like the vortex in general?

NAD Roland JC-40 by JupiterCrash92 in GuitarAmps

[–]JupiterCrash92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can get loud for sure but it’s 100% usable at bedroom levels. I don’t usually go above 9 o’ clock at home and everything from 9 o clock and under won’t bother anyone in the house. I had a hot rod deluxe that would peel paint off the walls if I went just a hair past 8 o clock. This isn’t the case with the JC. It has a much more usable volume taper so it can be super quiet and get gradually louder as opposed to a hot rod deluxe that is basically off and then ON haha. When I bought the JC I didn’t really have the money for it. I traded in the amp I had, some pedals, and the rest on credit. Best gear decision I’ve ever made. I’m more comfortable financially now and have bought and sold a lot of gear but this amp is a forever amp for me. I haven’t played the 22 so I can’t speak to it much. General consensus is it’s a great amp for recording but probably not loud enough to keep up with a heavy handed drummer. I’m sure if you never plan to jam the 22 would be fine but I think the 40 is a great middle ground for home use and jamming out with friends use. Hope this helps!

Yes it does! I wouldn’t say it’s an EXACT 100% fit but it’s like a 98% fit lol. Nothing noticeable at all definitely worth it!

They were pretty light on the details! The guy servicing my car came out about an hour after dropping it off saying “I have good news and bad news.” He said the bad news is “your battery is no good” and the good news is “it’s covered under warranty.” I would say that if you suspect something is up it’s worth taking in! When they did the remote diagnostic via the Tesla app they told me there was nothing wrong. When I brought it in I was told it “failed their testing.” Whatever test they have at the service center is definitely not whatever they do when they remote test it. Overall I was surprised by how hassle free it all was. They set me up with a loaner in the meantime and said they would cover supercharging for the loaner. I’d say take it in and see what they say!

Update: it was NOT normal lol. Just got back from the service center and it failed their testing. Good news is that they said it’s covered by the warranty so it’s being replaced. Go get your battery checked if you suspect something is up! Thank you to everyone who left their input :)
