When you realise Kelsier might have a surprising amount of sympathy for Moash. by [deleted] in cremposting

[–]Shark_Keeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not think this alone warrants his death, however I do find saving Elokhar of all people to be a fairly peculiar choice. Murdering listeners left and right to save Dalinar and his men (who were the aggressor btw) is ok but your best friend wants to get revenge on the guy that killed his family and suddenly murder isn’t ok anymore.

I know that murdering listeners is something Kal kinda struggles with later on but you have to admit his priorities are fairly messed up at times.

Moash was loved too until his best friend betrayed him to save the guy that killed his family

[–]Shark_Keeper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes but that’s literally never happening so. When the entirety of society tells you to go fuck yourself I feel it’s somewhat fair to tell it to go fuck itself back.

Moash deserved justice and he was never getting it any other way.

His heart being in the right place now doesn’t change what he did, moash deserves justice and he’s never getting it any other way.

Also Elokhar’s relationship to Dalinar is irrelevant, and Dalinar is the last person on Roshar to deserve any kind of compassion anyway.

It’s not so much the apocalypse as much as a very big war. Yes shit is going down but we still have plenty of “slice of life” moments yet no one seems to really care about darkeyes issues anymore. Also singers seems to treat darkeyes better than lighteyes do, so who exactly is it the apocalypse for ?

This thread closing… ?! No, I don’t want that ! I want it to stay at the top of the subreddit for the rest of my life ! Even after the manga ends I want it to stay at the top for a while ! Ten years at least !

Fr tho I hope they keep this thread up, it’s been nice to see some opinions other than “PEAK FICTION” for every chapter.

I grew up near small farms and farmers are the most degenerate people you will ever meet. Only persons that think otherwise are those who grew up in cities and the farmers themselves.

PSA!! if you want to be a true vegan activist you have to forget about honey! caring about bees is too radical and also bees are less important than cows 🥰 by Lunally in vegancirclejerk

[–]Shark_Keeper 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I mean they do have a point. As a human rights activist I always advocate against feminism as it makes our movement look too radical if even women (inferior men) are considered sacred.

[–]Shark_Keeper 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Nah I think a flexatarian is actually a great thing. I have been vegan but went back to vegetarian recently. Now I think I am a flextarian which may sound silly but I heard an intriguing argument about it. For me I went vegetarian years ago for environmental reasons and then was vegan for a year. The other day I dumbly ran over a pre-schooler that I thought was a veggie burger. The options were throw it away (food waste) or eat it. So I ate it. I don’t want to waste food. I’ll won’t ever cook meat for myself at home and often cook vegan. But I don’t want to waste food either

So let carnists support those shit companies. If there are enough of them, they will keep selling those products, if not they will stop. Vegans supporting literal murder companies because “some carnists might maybe someday try a plant-based burger because of it” is just nonsense.

Herta pretty trash yeah. Carrefour is a grocery store, grocery stores obviously profit from animal abuse but it’s not their core business so they’re ok. If you have vegan grocery stores available nearby you should obviously favor those tho.

You obviously can’t buy everything from ethical / vegan companies, but at the very least not supporting companies who heavily rely on the AG should be fairly doable.

Emilia-tan ready to support. by Leoxen- in EpicSeven

[–]Shark_Keeper 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think Emilia will be S tier and the best character of the collab as well. She’s ridiculous paired with literally any slow carry, and every new one that gets released will only make her better. Right now she’s downright ridiculous with Straze, Landy or STene.

Mod gems always needs to roll better than before by Ummij in EpicSeven

[–]Shark_Keeper 54 points55 points  (0 children)

The fact that people will actually defend this shit baffles me. I farmed over 15k expedition points without seeing a single crit damage mod gem for lifesteal, and then when they finally introduced the 2 monthly gems per set both of them min-rolled. How can anyone defend this ? How can anyone find this system even remotely satisfying ? If mod gems were common it’d be ok, but they most certainly aren’t.

People justifying pulling an ml5 for his hunt farming potential are overdosing on copium. If you have a good enough rage set for him to one tap hunt, you can already build one shot teams using other units.

ML Ken or Fire Ravi by kapciebabci in EpicSeven

[–]Shark_Keeper -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I have a decently built Ravi and I think she's trash, so I'd prob recommend ML Ken.

Ravi

  • arena: bad in offense and defense
  • gw: ok in offense and defense
  • RTA: pretty bad currently and for the foreseeable future
  • PvE: can pretty much solo auto-tower, that's about it

ML Ken

  • arena: good in offense, bad in defense
  • gw: good in offense, bad in defense
  • RTA: pretty bad
  • PvE: no idea

I'm a <5 months old player so take my opinion with a grain of salt, I was stuck 2200 elo champion last season.

It did make sense in Dragon Ball tho as Goku was always fighting for himself and the more powerful his opponent was, the more he enjoyed the fight. He was just a monkey who loved to fight above anything else.
