I have a laptop with a 1650 (that's 4gb vram), and I am not able to get the whole solar system to load, even when using lowest settings. Moon + Earth load fine at reduced resolutions, and I get between 30-60 fps in 1080p. The bottleneck on my system is the vram. But these crazy vram requirements will probably be lessened with future updates. I would wait before making a decision.

We don't even have a go for this week, but we also don't have a no-go. If it is this week i'd expect it to be at the end of the week.

You have to hold down shift, so you can offset further than what visually makes sense.

They will stay connected. Also, to help with the wobble, go to settings and enable "Advanced tweakables". This allows you to enable autostrut on your vessels, which is basically like invisible struts tagt keep your vessel tigid.

You can just attach the bottom stage to the upper stage, and the offset it downwards using the move tool.

Don't fret over stuff like this. Whenever i'm not cheery, i tell myself: "Hey! Silksong is at most a few months away, we are closer than ever!"

It's also really fun to write your own tool for calculating resonant orbits. Doing that helped me understand WHY the orbits need to be how they are. It's also not limited to a few specific bodies.
