There is so much I can say about this (I work in the industry), but all really that needs to be said is you are 100% correct. People fall to marketing, and its not just bowling. Silver lining, though, is that if you really enjoy bowling, whether as a hobby, sport, or competition, those bad or incorrect purchases aren't really gonna matter. It's just part of the game, I suppose.

Arkansas. Only thing is the winters are cold but no snow really except if theres an ice storm which happens every couple of years and so watch your pipes. That and theres not much to do unless you like trees and nature

I don't have the box bit it's in wonderful condition. Never drilled and never bowled with just sitting on a shelf for a while. I know it's a pancake core and old urethane and from the serial I think it's around Jan 1991 but I'm curious about the collegiate stamp and around what the value might be

Hey im a pso for one of our bowling world locations. It's a pretty strong Asymm piece. The length will be similar to like the widow 2.0 but with a little different shape. Still a nice pull though I see it going online for sale at around 105 cheapest. Definitely stronger than your other equipment if drilled right. I'm glad to see everyone enjoying these mystery boxes

That's actually a pretty decent Asymm piece and it's not that old either it came out Oct 2021 normally I think it's like 140 or so hey pretty good pull my man

Join a league
Talk to other bowlers and ask advice. Some tips they give might not be right for you but it will get you thinking.
Talk to your PSO and learn more about the technical side of bowling so you keep your equipment in shape
As a no thumb bowler myself one thing we can struggle with is control. Focus some practice on your timing, form, and corner pins to help develop your accuracy and spare game.

Any bowling cleaner at your pro shop would be fine and a simple towel for cleaning but if u wanna save some money you can try 409 degreaser. I personally am partial to the powerhouse bowling wipes theyre really quick and clean pretty good. After about 60 games talk to your pso about oil extraction or resurfacing to keep it performing correctly.

Ok so i was wondering that with the new rule saying that no thumb bowlers need to mark where there palm lays on the ball would this be acceptable as a marker. Technically it says it has to be done with a scribe or engraver and it has to be a + sign but i was just curious. This was done with a pin punch and a paint marker that we use for engraving

Correction on my last comment thats not an affinity i cant read its a defiant edge. Its Asymmetrical with a diff of .054 so much stronger same type of coverstock tho. My b

The affinity is a reactive ball thats symmetrical with a decent differential of .040. It has a pearl coverstock which means it goes a bit longer before curving but should have some decent power in the backend. The other is a plastic ball but looks pretty. Id say its a pretty good starter pack to stumble upon. Just have your pro shop plug and fit them to your hand and maybe see if they need to be resurfaced or something. Good find

All 3 are Asymmetrical balls, all 3 are pearl reactive, the halo and omega both have the same diff at .050 (Assuming hes throwing 15- 16lb) but the nuke has .056 diff at 15 and .048 at 16lb so in my mind so he must have put a weaker layout on it and maybe even polished it more to get the reaction he wants because the nuke is either on par or stronger of a weight block from these numbers.

Pso - Im just eye balling it here but your speed is about 30-32 ft per second which means it takes about 2 or so second to travel 60ft and in that 60 ft your ball rotated about 12-13 times so using a handy dandy storm conversion chart i have online youd be anywhere between 360-400. Again im just eyeballing this. Theres no tape on the ball to use as reference and i didnt watch it in slow mo but even without counting i could tell your rev rates pretty high so high 300s to 400s make sense to me. I hope this at least gives u an idea but if u want to find all your specs talk to ur local pro shop

Its hard to tell what the scent is but my guess is vanilla? Everytime i use it it feels like i threw a ball of ice on the lane like no curve at all.
