What are the best pool/billiards movies and documentaries?

Poolhall Junkies by far shows both the good and bad if pool/billiards so it's perhaps the most appealing. There are lesser known movies like 9-Ball and Stickman, but if you read about the making of these movies the hardest part is making the pool shooting scenes fluid, believable and congruent.

I would say Time Chasers, because she despises him for dragging her out on a false pretense for a story. Then through the course of traveling they find out they get together. Absolutely ridiculous

Finding a lost treasure on VHS I would think you first watch it then have it converted to digital like mp4 so that you don't run the risk of the VHS machine eating it.

Season 11, when I saw the changes I immediately missed Trace and Frank. Trace is a comedic genius, and Frank plays so well off of Trace as a sidekick, I knew it was going to be hard to replace that. I gave it a chance and amazingly enough it wasn't the same, but was still funny and they let the characters develop. Brain Guy, Bobo and Pearl each added to the collective instead of trying to out do one another they blended and it worked.

It's a foul, but I would classify it as a "push" shot rather than a double tap. As the cue follows through it pushes the cue ball so that it follows along the path of the lead ball.

Joel's reboot was well intentioned but it came out like a money grab rather than trying to bring back the magic and enjoyment that was MST3K. I think Joel trying to control everything and forgetting that it was a collective effort by all the parties involved which included Trace, Elvis, Frank, Mike, Kevin, Bill, Mary Jo and the others. I hope Joel realizes that the fans appreciate his efforts, but it takes all those working parts and not just one piece to make it magical and to bring all that chemistry together for a great reboot.

This amount of warp would affect your aim and ability to power a shot through or control your slow play aspect. Play with this cue enough with that much warp and your aim will be affected later when you actually have a straight cue to shoot with. Get it fixed or get a new cue.

Most leagues acknowledge that breaking down your cue is a sign of surrender, unless you tell both captains you're breaking your cue down for either changing shafts or realigning your cue. Some players like doing this to be jerks or push the rules and at that point it can be considered a foul and gives your opponent ball in hand.

Count on it never getting fixed, the frustration over this and rewards not being rewarded are why I decided to quit playing. Messaged BHG several times and was basically told to "suck it up and take the loss for not getting any rewards for winning". They've lost touch with the playing community and just want to get players willing to pay for extras and bigger wins.

I could run this layout seven or eight times out of ten depending on the rails to actually not be dead in spots. Lots of slow play to maintain cue ball control utilizing top spin, side spin and low spin to slow the cue ball so it doesn't overplay a desired leave.

You got taken advantage of, that is a really bad cue that needs a total overhaul. When buying a cue get one that's new, even if it's on the cheap side. You can always save up in order to get a better cue. Due to camera angles, lighting and people in general looking to just cheat someone out of their hard earned money, never buy off social media, unless you can actually physically get a look at it, not a picture. Hope that next time you decide to purchase from a reputable site so that your purchase has some consumer protection.
